It was originally his idea according to Piers Morgon on ITV this morning. It seemed to be even more popular than the X Factor though, did'nt that only get like 10m?

June 19, 200718 yr I find the idea of Connie being signed up by Cowell to be distasteful in the extreme, he has treated every other artist he has signed up like a piece of meat on a production line so for him to now be able to exploit a 6 year old girl is in incredibly bad taste she will become the next Judy Garland and have an incredibly miserable childhood because of Cowell playing god over her hopes and dreams when she should just be enjoying her childhood like any other 6 year old girl Cowell is a leech and a parasite and the fact he can now f*** with the head of and exploit a 6 year old girl and use her as a cash cow is beyond sick :manson:

And she must certainly be one of the best 6 year olds today, although she was a bit out of tune on her second song 'Ben', she is only six afterall, and has a great voice for someone so young which is obviously why such a big deal is made of her, also the fact she does looks a alot like Maddie, and all the grannies will think "awww" etc. The fact that she has been signed to BMG by Cowell is a disgrace though, her parents need to wake up and think about what it will do to her when she grows up and not about how much money Cowell will give them. <_<

June 21, 200718 yr i think connie was brilliant for her age, but i too agree that she should NOT have been signed, i mean mabye when shes in her teens or something, but seriously 6 years old is FAR too young to have a contract. bless her
