Did you see the hologram appearance by Elvis doing a duet with Celine on

American Idol? :yahoo: At first I was excited but then after seeing it, it just doesn't seem real to me.

What I mean is, it's not a real Elvis hologram. You can tell it was a stand in, doing Elvis's moves and I think they

CGI'd Elvis face on to this Elvis impersonator. One of the dead give aways was at the beginning, when Celine

walks on stage, there is Elvis walking beside her. If they took this footage from the 68 special, they would

see that Elvis does not walk on to the stage, he stands there in his white suit and the lights come one.

Some of the movements didn't corospond with Elvis's movements. It just doesn't seem like a true hologram

of the King. What do you think?

I loved it, Rusty It brought Elvis to loads of people who probably had never heard that fantastic song! Here's the link to a thread we had on here at the time, including a clip where the makers explain how they did it B)

I liked it, it's nice to know Elvis hasn't been forgotten after all this time. :)

 

But personally, I'm not a big fan of Celine Dion, and I think she kind of ruined the song. :(

hi!maybe i answer late to this thread but all the opinions are important!elvis is a god!im a big fan of him!but also im a big fan of celine dion!!!!something that i dont understand is why u said that celine's crystall voice ruined the song........hmm celine's and elvis' voices will be alive for ever!
