Ive been havin a clear out of my little girls toys before xmas, wow i forgot how many she had, gave her a bath and now its almost her bedtime :cheer:

thanks for the wubbles flatters, i feel fabulous now :D

i got a bollocking for talking to a customer!

right i might go on a bit here but i need a good rant

theres a lady called mrs baker, shes about 86/87. and she comes to do her shopping every friday afternoon. she says she loves seeing me and stopping for a chat for 5 mins or so, she doesnt get out much so her shopping trip is like the only time she gets out and is able to talk to people. shes amazing, great sense of humour, and always always always got a little story to tell me on a friday. i'm tellin u shes like my role model, i hope i'm like her when i'm in my late 80's.

anyway i was talking to her today, i'd stopped for like 2 minutes to talk to her, when the manager called me over, so i said i had to go and that i'd see her next week....next thing i know stupid manager is telling me that when a customer comes over to talk i have to tell them that i'm busy and have to get on with my work!

Mrs baker is an old old old lady who probably hasnt got long left in her fabulous life, her friday shopping trips are what she looks forward to all week....who the f*** is he to say that she cant have a chat with a friend for 5 minutes!

a friend of mine works at asda, she got £2 voucher for smiling at a customer, her manager said she was doing great customer service!

phew rant over

Welcome back Haze. :welcome:

Glad you're feeling fabulous now Laura.

Amazing character these old ladies have, one I know has been on the PCC (Parochial Church Council) since 1940 and she is still in charge there.

Use this to vent your frustration Laura. :whip:

Thx flatters :cheer:

Awww she sounds so sweet, thats whats wrong with the world today people are to wrapped up in makin bloody money to give anyone the time of day, the world would be a much happier place if some people just stopped for a second to actually see whats in front of their eyes.......talkin to you probably makes that ladies week let alone her day....pity more people werent so compassionate and friendly......

Sounds like you need to tell him where to shove his job and go work at Asda :D

My great aunt Liz from Kent died just last week and she was 95, its a very sad time for the family, i always remember when we used to go as kids and still even up till the last time i saw her she didnt look a day over 70, she was always an active lady and travelled around a bit....my dad used to wind her up all the time and she used to tell him your not to big for a clobbering you know.....she was so funny and will be missed greatly

yeah i'll go work for asda and take loads of customers with me

there are a few customers that have say they like seeing me in work, because i actually talk to them and make sure they're ok, most people couldnt give a $h!t about them. of course there are some that i avoid, but the shop is in a bad neighborhood so there are plenty of weirdo's in too

think its time for some beer and a fim

have a fun night xxxxxxx

Theres plenty of them knocking about, thats for sure....

Enjoy :hic:

It was very good, the trees were excellent. The theme was nursery rhymes and the trees were decorated accordingly.

 Thx I feel better now :D

Awww i bet too, my little girl would have loved that

The churches round here do hold Christmas Tree Festivals, not sure if the churches in your area hold them. They are beautifully done.
I didnt know they did xmas tree festivals tbh...took her to the big light switch on which was great fun and taking her to see santa, now she is older she understands a lot more too :heehee:
