Posted June 16, 200718 yr With permission from Rooney, i've decided to open a Premiership Prediction thread for 07/08, based on the fact that i did the BBC Sport Predictor yesterday. So, has anyone else tried the predictor? :o If so, what did the table end up looking like? http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/7158/0708eb3.jpg That was mine, i know people will laugh at 1st place, but hey i've got to be optimistic ^_^ I think i gave way too many draws aswell, as too many teams at the bottom have such low points
June 16, 200718 yr I can't see anyone closing the gap on Chelsea or Man U because they simply have too much cash. Liverpool could catch them up a little bit but I think Aresnal rely too much on Henry - without him they will struggle to finish top 4 !

June 16, 200718 yr Arsenal will sadly be championship contenders next season :( They are on the brink of signing the AMAZING Samuel E'too who is possibly the best striker in the world and much better than Henry so if they buy E'too then they could well win the league
June 16, 200718 yr The BBC have taken down the Predictor which is a shame as would have liked to have given it a go
June 16, 200718 yr This is only VERY vague as 80% of transfers, etc. have yet to occur. My annual in-depth analysis will be up about a week before the season starts. http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/848/premtableok1.png Actually ignore this table. The points are so ridiculously off-scale it really isn't realistic in the slightest.

June 16, 200718 yr How are you guys accessing the predictor ? I have 20mb cable but every time I go to BBC site and click on the link I just get white page http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/e...tor/default.stm Edited June 16, 200718 yr by Vic Vega

June 17, 200718 yr You think we will get 9th David ? :o :o And why are Newcastle and the bingo club so high up ? will Parker / Barton really push those 2 up so high from mid to low table to be above us ?
June 17, 200718 yr Bleurgh I can see Newcastle doing really well this year. :( They're always a very unreliable side to predict where to finish anyway. They went from 3-5-16 or something a few years ago didn't they? Tottenham could, and probably will, do better depends who else they sign this year I suppose. :D

June 17, 200718 yr Newcastle will do better than they did last season at least, not sure how good they'll do though as I think Big Sam really needs to build the whole team again, but I think he's gonna change St James's Park into a fortress, and they'll be a very difficult team to beat, much like Bolton were.
June 18, 200718 yr I think Man U will get it again! They're buying lots of really good young players!
