Soap awards don't speak for much.

 

The fact Hollyoaks is a "youth" soap and is on channel 4 at quite a difficult time viewers wise means its never going to be as successful as EE. Pointless argument much here... :S

But face it - Eastenders has a much bigger fanbase than Hollyoaks and most awards are viewer voted, so EE are always going to win.

ATM though - the Hollyoaks topic is doing just as good/better than this one which is good.

A joke, surely?! Hollyoaks' acting is beyond embarassing most of the time, and its so out of touch with what teenagers are actually like, which would be forgiveable if it wasnt aimed at a teen audience.

nah, it aint a joke.

 

hollyoaks has better storylines and the acting really isn't too bad aside from a few of the characters.

 

eastenders' storylines really aren't that interesting and they drag the $h!t out of them (e.g. the whole stacey and max thing).

Dawn was amazing tonight :wub: Loved how funny the script was too :P

 

May was looking v mad though :o

Eastenders was hilarious last night :D Yet serious.

I thought thursday's episode was quite funny.

 

I'm sick of May now...

Lmao at May crying with her doll - and yet she suddenly manages to look sane again as she turns up at the hospital...

 

So who's willing to bet that Dawn wants a few minutes alone with the baby and May just happens to turn up at the right time :D
