Craig. Patrick caught Lucy taking the bottle of vodca or whatever it was, which Craig had presumably asked her to steal, so he, being weirdo that he is, would've wanted to get revenge on Patrick. ^_^

Craig is a psycho. He doesnt have to have a reason.

Enraged Ian Beale is dragged off sly sex predator Craig after catching him trying to rape his daughter Lucy.

 

Newcomer Craig (Rory Jennings) plies 13-year-old Lucy (Melissa Suffield) with booze. But as he strips off, Ian (Adam Woodyatt) bursts into the lad's room with pal Max (Jake Wood).

 

Lucy, is helpless as Max prevents boiling Ian giving the lad a beating.

 

EastEnders bosses are using the Beale family to tackle the issue of teen paedophiles. See it on Friday August 17.

The police hunt for the shirt Sean was wearing on the night Patrick was attacked. Without sufficient evidence, Sean could walk away a free man.

Tanya is rushed to hospital after a sudden illness and is concerned about her baby.

Patrick, meanwhile, is still in hospital - it's doubtful he will pull through.

 

Tuesday, August 14

Ian panics when he finds that Craig and Lucy have slipped out from his party.

Meanwhile, Carly worries about what to do with Sean's blood-stained shirt; and Patrick leaves the hospital after being given the all-clear.

 

Thursday, August 16

Max drives Ian in his car and the hunt is on to find Craig before he and Lucy become too intimate.

Meanwhile, a delivery man in the Vic deceives Roxy. But how will Ronnie react, and will they end up in financial trouble?

Later, Carly, causes a stir in the Vic and quizzes Deano as to whether he is telling the truth about Sean.

 

Friday, August 17

Ian, still fuming about Craig and Lucy's shenanigans, finds a solution to getting rid of Craig from Lucy's life. However, despite his plans, this may not be the end of Craig and Lucy's liaisons.

Meanwhile, Ronnie and Roxy attempt to raise some money to make up for Roxy's blunder last night.

Elsewhere, Deano decides that he won't lie any more as he doesn't want to upset Carly.

 

Monday, August 20

Garry and Dawn decide to take baby Summer on a trip to Brighton.

Heather's obsession with Garry, meanwhile, hits new heights as she follows him down to Brighton, aided by Shirley and an unwilling Pat. Along the way, however, an angry Pat is left behind at the service station.

 

Tuesday, August 21

Heather is left heartbroken after Shirley tries to let her down gently, but Garry is not interested.

Garry wants to reveal his undying love to Dawn. However, he fails to achieve this when he finds Dawn in a compromising position with another man.

Later, Garry needs a friend to talk to, but will he be pleased to find out exactly what Minty's Italian cookery lessons really involve?

 

Thursday, August 23

Pat visits the asylum to find out more about her sister, Joan. However, the asylum has closed down but Pat will go to any lengths to retrieve anything that belongs to her sister.

Heather and Shirley, meanwhile, go partying in Brighton and Heather receives some attention in a bar - but will she be able to get over Garry?

 

Friday, August 24

Pat learns some surprising news about her sister.

Meanwhile, Garry feels that he, Dawn and Summer are a perfect little family, so he proposes to Dawn.

Minty reveals to Garry that his and Heather's affection for each other runs quite deep – but Garry becomes angry and punches Minty.

 

Monday, August 27

It is the Albert Square Fun Day and Patrick goes back to work for the first time since the attack. Ian and Peter lose out to Jase and Jay in the father-and-son race.

Meanwhile, Roxy receives a text message from her fiancé, Damian, which she ignores, but Damian turns up, unannounced.

Elsewhere, Jean turns up on the Square and is told by Yolande about Sean's attack on Patrick.

 

Tuesday, August 28

A search gets under way as Patrick is still missing.

Elsewhere, Ian's fish has gone off and is making his customers sick.

Roxy packs her bags to leave for Ibiza with fiancé Damien. Ronnie will do anything to help her sister and hatches a plan to keep Roxy in Walford.

Deano, meanwhile, regrets speaking out against Sean, as Sean plots his revenge from behind bars.

 

Thursday, August 30

It becomes apparent things have never been worse between Ian and his daughter, Lucy.

Elsewhere, Carly is eagerly awaiting Deano's return from hospital following the attack, but when Deano returns to the Square, he and Chelsea fear for their lives.

 

Friday, August 31

Ian fails in his attempt to send Lucy to boarding schoo.

Meanwhile, the crucial tape that will help to identify Patrick's attacker has been stolen from Chelsea. Gus recovers it and hands it over to Kevin who views it and sees who the attacker is.

Later, Lucy has a secret meeting with someone in the park.

Thank God we're not going to have Sean behind bars for too long. Such a fine man should not be witheld from the world.
