Posted June 19, 200718 yr Pop Superstar Michael Jackson has claimed that acquaintances tried to steal his fortune during his 2005 child molestation trial. Jacko, who admits he was close to financial ruin when disloyal advisors attempted to take advantage of him, has singled out his older brother Randy’s close friend as one of the main culprits. Michael, who was found not guilty on 10 accounts of child abuse, says he was only saved after Reverend Jesse Jackson and billionaire Ron Burkle advised him. Jacko’s revelations appear in a sworn deposition he gave last July for a federal lawsuit, set to go to trial this week. He alleges Don Stabler, Randy’s close associate, attempted to get him to sign a deal that would see him lose a large part of his fortune. However, MJ refused after Burkle warned him not to. In one transcript, obtained by the New York Daily News newspaper, Jackson recalled: “I vehemently told them, ‘No, I am not signing this.’ And I just remember how angry, the intensity of the anger in the room. And so they marched out.” Jackson, whose career has been in freefall since the court case, said his experience has left him wary of the entertainment industry. He said: “It’s full of sharks, charlatans and impostors. Because there’s a lot of money involved, there’s a bunch of schmucks in there.” http://www.showbizspy.com/2007/06/18/micha...teal-his-money/
June 19, 200718 yr Must be awfull when you're always have to watch your back :( All those so called friends and people pretending they want the best for you <_< One could get totally paranoid about that
June 19, 200718 yr Author Yeah you can't even trust you family sometimes :( I really hope that the ones who wish Michael well are more than the ones who only want his money :(
June 19, 200718 yr He's like always been famous and always earned lots of money, I suppose he can tell by now who his real friends are. Again must be awfull when you meet new people you always have to wonder if they have an agenda :(
June 19, 200718 yr Author yeah that's awful indeed, now as i've almost finished reading Moon Walk, i see that even when he was a teenager, he felt really lonely, let alone now as he cannot trust almost anyone :(
June 19, 200718 yr Author He's from such a large family and still he's feeling alone !! yeah that's what seemed really strange to me :( furthermore, his father's been a very cold man
June 19, 200718 yr Not really that surprising is it? I suppose it is easy for people to jump on the "gravy train" of someone in the entertainment industry. It reminds me of some politicians.
June 19, 200718 yr Author Yes, I read those stories aswell :o A real tiran the way he managed Jackson 5 -_- indeed -_- Michael says that when the whole family gathered in the room, he left it :( and a worse one: at the "25 years Motown", after the amazing performance of Michael singing Billie Jean, all the family went to hug and greet him except for his father
