Forth or Fifth favourite, behind only LTAL, IBEY AND Sing. Rudebox and IC are very close and change depending on my mood. What Would you give this album out of 10? 9 What Do You Like Most About The Album? I love the lyrics. The mature sound to it. It really sounds like an album that took near two years to write. I think his voice is excellent on it, never sounded better, it is, unlike other albums more like one piece of work by a songwriter, rather than a pop album with loads of potential singles on it. It is also arguably his most consistant and complete album to date, not a bad song on it, it's just a really great record. :wub: What 3 words sum up IC for you? Complete, mature, fantastic Favourite Lyric From The Album? Actually nothing much, apart from maybe King Of Bloke & Bird, as I find it a tad to depressing for my liking, but it's nice when I'm in the mood. What's your favourite B-side from the IC era? So hard. The B-sides from IC was just fantastic with many of them being FAR better than most songs on the actual album. My faves include Our Love, Don't say no and Dont stop talking (although that was'nt an actual B-side), but Bag Full Of Silly is my fave :wub: Favourite Video From The Album? Not great vids imo, but Sin Sin Sin was by far the best. Favorite Live Performance From The Era? Oh god, there are so many. A Place To Crsh from Berlin has always been my favourite TV performance, not only at Berlin, but Jonathan Ross, Taranta in France and many other tv shows. As far as on tour, I felt 'Sin Sin Sin' was truely amazing live every time it was performed. And of course Ghosts in Berlin. God, there are just so many great performances. June 22, 200718 yr Great topic Scotty. I'll definitely put my two cents in later. But I'll say this now, everytime I listen to IC, I'm amazed at how great it is. I know I shouldn't be amazed at this point but it still amazes me, the quality and maturity and cohesiveness of it.
June 22, 200718 yr I love IC too, I always have from the first time it hit my CD player, I was never disappointed in its content, Robbie's vocals and musical arrangement. Its a brilliant album. The lyrics are good with Random Acts of Kindess being one of the best he's ever written. I am so pleased that it has become a huge global hit for him.. When I was in Greece last year on holiday, all I heard was Advertising Space blaring out of the bars and cafe's..it made my holiday, well nearly. :dance: I will do a listing when I decide my running order, I can't quite decide yet. Must go and listen to it all through again. :wub:
