It's not actually that surprising. Eurodance was very popular in America - especially in the early to mid 90's. Culture Beat, Snap, Haddaway, La Bouche, Nicki French, Real McCoy, Gina G, Bizarre Inc, Le Click, Technotronic, 2 unlimited, Robin S, Aqua, Corona all had top 40 hits...many more too

the US charts weren't always so dance-phobic.

How many can I list????

But 10 of my faves are:

U96 - Love Religion

Westbam - Celebration Generation

Marusha - Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Scooter - Friends

Prince Ital Joe & Marky Mark - United

Dune - Are You Ready To Fly

Music Instructor - Hymn

Blumchen - Boomerang

Masterboy - I See The Light

2 Brothers On The 4th Floor - Dreams

Aah! the days of the old SKY box, watching Simone Angel with The Party Zone on MTV Europe

This was MTV was at its brilliant best - it's c**p now.

Worst thing that MTV did was to split up the stations to seperate countries.

Hardly very popular. It dominated the top10 in Europe, in America it was a big hit once in a while
