4 in the morning is one of my favourite Gwen tracks. It should get top 10 if there's any justice which of course there isn't.

Much prefer this to most of her recent singles.

I hope Kelly R doesnt miss Top 10. The album is too good for that, though there seems to be a few stocking problems, which isnt good news -_-

Is her album more R'n'B or more soul, would you say? I prefer her voice to Beyonce's actually. I hope she does alright in the charts.

Thanks to tommie on the PopJustice forums for this: "Ghosts is top 70 in the midweeks, just two spots below Mutya."

Well it verges from RnB and hip-hop (Comeback, Put It In) to Soul (Every Thought Is You, Flashback) but its much more soul-y on the whole ^_^

Music Week report is in, short and bloody sweet, and straight to the point

Wow. That IS short. I think Jack Penate's sales will fall off to leave Enrique with a top 3 spot :D

I wonder if Nashy could unseat RiRi?!

wow blink and you would miss it

Methinks Nash will unseat RiRi by the end of the week, her downloads are still soaring up...

talk about slacking :manson:

Great news for Kate Nash though - yet again sticking up two fingers to the biast playlist that is Radio 1. ^_^

Youngsters give Rihanna a run for her money

Source: Music Week

Two young singer songwriters are set to challenge Rihanna’s long-standing dominance of the singles chart this Sunday, according to early sales reports.

Jack Penate’s Torn On The Platform (XL) and Kate Nash’s Foundations (Fiction) are both set for top three chart entries, although Rihanna’s Umbrella (Def Jam) is currently outselling both singles by a narrow margin.

How could that Kate Nash one come from *nowhere*, with minimal radio play?

wow blink and you would miss it

Yep. How very informative. Not! Maybe whoever writes the report is bored with the charts... or still hungover from Glastonbury?

loving -

Top 3

Kate Nash - Foundations

Jack Penate - Torn On The Platform

Top 10

The Enemy - Had Enough

Hoosiers - Worried About Ray

All very deserved in my opinion. I love Rihanna but i hope one of these 4 can knock her off

She's had VERY strong video play from what I've seen on certain channels but still not THAT amazing. All I can presume is that its a song that's catched on, all my friends know and love it...

Hungover, i recon  Would be nice to have a mention of a couple of the big songs that arent new entries lol. Oh well!

I reckon Kate Nash will pip Rihanna to the #1 spot come Sunday, will be very close though.

Great news for Jack Penate as well, but he'll fall as the week goes on, and I really hope The Hoosiers fall out of the Top10 come Sunday.

Laptop job, probably still stuck in the mud at Glastonbury

I am so shocked at Kate Nash.

I hope Rihanna holds on
