What I'm puzzled about is that terror experts have said it's almost certain that the terrorist is British, and learnt his trade in Iran, Pakistan or Iraq.... if this is the case, surely we should now be tracking ALL people travelling from the UK to these countries for extended stays? It's highly unlikely a 2 month stay would be for a 'family visit', don't you think? And if so - surely the person travelling should now be made to prove their stay? On BBC24 Eye Witness Reports say that a explosion came from the back of the car not the front where the engine was of the Jeep.

A jeep has driven into the terminal building at Glasgow airport and caught fire, police have confirmed.

Witnesses reported hearing a series of loud "bangs" and saw at least two Asian men - one of whom was on fire - emerge from the vehicle.

 

It is thought a Cherokee 4x4 smashed into a glass door at the airport, the busiest in Scotland.

 

Witnesses said people removed gas cylinders from the jeep before it caught fire.

 

Police say it is too early to say whether the incident - which comes after failed car bomb attacks in London - was related to terrorism.

 

Police, fire crews and ambulances are at the scene.

 

Holidaymaker Stephen Clarkson said he knocked one of the men to the floor before police intervened.

 

He said: "There was an Asian male. He was lying on the floor and he was on fire, the Jeep was on fire as well.

 

"The fellow got up and started fighting with police. I managed to knock the Asian fellow to the ground and four police officers got on top of him."

 

He added: "His whole body was on fire. He was quite a big fellow and was disorientated otherwise I wouldn't have been able to knock him down."

 

James Edgar told Sky News: "People were running past like they has missed their flight.

 

"They told us all to get out of the airport.

 

"Everyone was in a panic and police and security were scuffling with an Asian gentleman."

Arrests After Burning Jeep Hits Airport

Four people have been arrested after a jeep was driven into the terminal building at Glasgow airport and caught fire, police have confirmed.

 

Witnesses reported hearing a series of loud "bangs" and saw at least two men - one of whom was on fire - emerge from the vehicle.

 

The jeep on fire. There are reports of several injuries.

 

A Cherokee 4x4 smashed into a glass door at the Terminal One, the busiest in Scotland.

 

Witnesses said some of the hundreds of people in the area removed gas cylinders from the jeep before it caught fire.

 

But there are reports the men in the jeep were trying to fling petrol onto the flames.

 

Scott Gleeson said he saw the jeep speed up and swerve towards the terminal at an angle to hit the door.

 

"They were obviously trying to get through to cause as much damage as possible," he said.

 

Police say it is too early to say whether the incident - which comes after failed car bomb attacks in London - was related to terrorism.

The Muslims & the Christians have been at each others throats since Jerusalem fell to the Sassanids (Muslims) in 614 AD & they ransacked (raped, murdered & destroyed) the "Holy Land" of religious significance, ever since then nearly 1500 years ago & will doubtless continue until the destruction of the human race.

 

The identity of countries & leaders may change but the struggle will remain the same.

Check out the number of attacks by the IRA, ETA, Red Brigade, Bader Meinhoff, Red Army, add to that random shootings in America, add to that Timothy McVeigh, add to that the USA shooting down the Iranian 747 in a military exercise, Shock And Awe, torture and murder in Camp X Ray and Abu Ghirab, Israeli settlers mass murdering Palestinians and so on and so on and so on, you have produced a list of murders and terrorist attacks committed by muslims but you can multiply that list several times to find atrocities committed by christians and catholics
