July 3, 200718 yr They should've got someone famous to support it. It's probably for the best anyway, I mean if this got to #1 then EVERYTHING they released in the UK would've been #1, except Forever. :( So then there'd be some Forever campaign and people would buy the album for the sake of it. :(
July 3, 200718 yr Author Yeah if a tv or radio presenter had got behind it, it would have done really well... the reason it is doing badly is because nobody knows about it.. it's now 68...
July 3, 200718 yr I got 4 copiesfrom 4 different digital stores, maybe it's doing better on other charts like tesco/hmv/virgin... I'm worried though, the campaign (quite rightly) said 2nd July, the big day has come and passed, I fear only casual onlookers on iTunes chart will see it and purchase. Maybe when it enters the chart in next midweek it will pick up some press
July 4, 200718 yr well to be fair Tesco is only a small percentage of all downloads, iTunes is the most important and well it's not looking good :(
July 4, 200718 yr still very good to be number 3 on tesco i think. still cant see it making any higher than top 60
July 9, 200718 yr Stop enters at a stop-tastic #78 oops! It would of been higher had it not been for all those re-entrys
July 9, 200718 yr all if and buts though :( if it sold more it would have been above those ones too
July 9, 200718 yr It would of been higher had it not been for all those re-entrys That doesn't matter, the whole point of the campaign was to get it to #1 because it was their only single to miss, so it needed to be 77 places higher really. That said, I did think more people were behind this campaign than for it to make #78, I was expecting it to make a fairly big splash, although I knew from the word go that the plan to get it to #1 was impossible and would never work.
