If Martha's only in a couple of episodes next series are they getting another companion or is it Doc on his own?

Apparently Martha (Freema), (according to the Daily Mirror ) will be in the next series of Torchwood.

I've just had a thought, maybe the Master & his Mrs switched bodies before the Master('s body) was "killed"?

I think they did switch bodies, as The Doctor wanted him to re-generate, and he wouldn't, probably he couldn't because he had already switched bodies.

supposedly a press release on Monday about the future of Martha (could be the Torchwood thing)

Just had a thought, the master's power could be in the ring, hence why the Dr wanted him to re-generate while cradling him at the end and he couldn't. The producers are probably thinking of probably casting a female master for series 4. :D :o

erm seeing as the master is a TIME LORD, not a TIME LADY (like Romana) i doubt this will happen

A good episode totally spoiled by the spectacularly c**p CGI "mini me" Doctor in the bird-cage.....   I just couldn't help but almost pish myself frankly.....

And TiP is correct, what an utter cop-out the ending was - Time going backwards, nobody remembering what happened.... YAWN.....

Pretty fiendish twist though in making the "killer spheres" the humans from the year 3 Trillion.....

Best bit - The Doctor's "Messianic" resurrection, The Master's "death" (let's face it folks The Master will be back, you cant keep a good villain down for long...) and The Doctor's genuinely emotional reaction to it.....

Capt Jack as "The Face of Boe"??? Nice touch.....

7/10 all in all, would've been a bit higher without the cop-out ending and the rubbish CGI though....

And, WHY do we need to have yet another "Titanic"-related thing for Christmas...... GAWD..... Russell T's nicking ideas from legendary British comic "2000AD" now, there was a one-off short story there where it was Time-Travelling Aliens who accidentally caused the Titanic disaster....
