Not Christmas Mariah :(

Anytime but near christmas :(

Pleased its this year though

She's obviously going for the Christmas sales which is fine in the US because she will get those Christmas sales fairly easily I would imagine but in the UK she will get lost for sure. :(

I hope Britney doesn't release on this date :o

Oh come on like she has a shot at beating Mariah's album. -_-

That's why I said I hope she doesn't.

But hey, Britney will more then likely debut at number one, just for people curiosity! all of her other albums debuted at number one :o

Britney's Greatest hits never debuted at number 1 in the US.

#4 it was. ^_^

Oh and as for the UK release date, if we're working off the numbers in the first post it'll be the 19th of November. :D

HMV UK are allowing you to pre-order Mariah’s new album "Illusions: The Butterfly Within" for just £8.99.

Their online site also gives a scheduled release date of 11 October, 2007.

That had BETTER NOT be the title. :arrr: Although the release date is MUCH better.

Oooh no thats an awful Title :(

Much better release date though :funky:

I meant studio albums, but if you want to get technical...

That title is just dire, isn't it? :(

I don't think its *that* bad.. she can definitley come up with something better though. I didn't like The Emancipation of Mimi title either though.

That's definatly not the title, when Mark Sudack was asked was it the title after Billboard started the rumour he said no but they have a title in mind and it is more than one word! As for the October 11th release date it must be false as it is a Thursday and albums are released on a Monday! I'd say we'd be lucky to see it before the beginning of next year!
Cant wait, I though we would have to wait til next year
What an awful yet predictable title!
According to the print edition of Billboard magazine dated July 14, 2007, Mariah Carey's new, as-yet-untitled album is slated for release on November 20, 2007.
