Poor Mandy though. :( I thought she'd move back into the top 50 by the end of the week but I guess not. Hopefully the drop wasn't too huge.
July 4, 200717 yr That´s great for Kelly. 300k is wicked! All the haters would have still said she´d have flopped if she´d have been #1. Some people are just stupid. It´s so silly that loads of you Kelly-bash for no reason. My December has peaked higher than Breakaway in the UK and the US. She´s succesful. Get over it, accept it and move on.

July 4, 200717 yr the joke is hannah montana wi do a hilary duff with her next few albums and sell nothing. Remember hilary duff was so big at first then her albums just started selling less and less. I think kelly wont sell nearly as much as breakaway but will still sell well

July 4, 200717 yr Why do people think Kelly flopped?!? She sold 300,000 copies in the first week...and according to MOST people it was lead by a $h!t single, which it wasn't IMO. I would consider it a flop if she drops more then ten positions next week.

July 4, 200717 yr Sorry last i checked #2 with 300k in the first week isn't a flop, and last i checked Never Again is most-likely to hit 700,000 downloads next week...which doesn't seem floppish to me either. Not to mention Sober is now on the download charts as well so once promo for that goes underway it should help sustain sales. The only unfortunate thing about this is that hannah colorado is sitting at #1 right now. If it were anyone else I wouldn't care but this is such c**p! Oh well in a few years she'll be a nobody and people will still love kelly, she's just one in a line of many, first hilary duff was big, now her newest album has flopped, and then you couldn't go anywhere or see anything without Raven all over it. Now its this one's turn. On a different note...Pink's out of the top 50, i think it's time for Who Knew promo to kick in full now!
July 4, 200717 yr Time will tell whether the album is a flop or not. The album will be a flop if it fails to sell much more than 1 million units in the USA. But with the exception of Blender magazine, I have not seen a good review for My December.
July 4, 200717 yr Author according to official Billboard numbers Kelly actually sold 291k, 10k below estimates. Hitsdaily had her at between 350-400k based on 1st days sales, so me thinks there was a lot of upfront demand but it died off as the week went on. :arrr: Edited July 4, 200717 yr by myfunkodyssey

Avril was slaughtered with TBDT and look how well she´s doing. Reviews are bullsh!t nowadays anyway. If all the reviewers were Kelly fans, then they would all be good reviews! If they don´t like her, they´re going to give her a negative review.
