Charley v Gerry 11/07/07

How can anybody possibly support Charley in this argument?

Throughout this argument Gerry does not swear, does not raise his voice & was not the first one to through the water.

At least in BigBrother 3 Jade Goody had an air of vulnerability about her.

I totally agree with Chris Moyles on his Radio show today saying that Charley should have been chucked out of the house over this incident.

If you think what Emily did was worse than this then you are seriously messed up!

agreed!

i heard chris moyles this morning calling her 'deluded' and 'full of self importance'..

i see the headline in some tabloid goes on about safety issues if charley is fake evicted tonight, apparently theres been threats made against her life!!! now thats a tabloid headline, so i dont take much credence from it, but if theres a grain of truth then that is utterly dispicable! its a fcukin game show, she might be vile but its still no excuse for death threats.

this should be highly amusing... i cant wait to see the faces when charley goes back in!

I don't tune in to Big Brother to see an over-weight 53 year old woman sit and clean the house. Or to see a 31 year old male sit and hold his teddy bear, talking to other housemates about museums and art galleries all day long.

dont be sizeist! many women get 'middle aged spread', my sisters weight has mushroomed dispite regular excercise and a very healthy diet. no one wants to see an 'old woman' clean the house, nor gerry who is mildy boooring go on about museums, however they arnt offensive like charley is.

I didn't mean it to come off that way. I wasn't even thinking about it like that.

I don't really see that Gerry started the argument, I think more than anything he'd just had enough, and just snapped at her!

But, I completely agree with you about those hypocrites who hate Charley for arguing but want her to be evicted and go back so she'll kick off some more!!! Just so they can hate her more! argh!!

Well I'm not a hypocrite as I don't want Charley "evicted" this week as that will mean I have to put up with her vileness for another two weeks as the "evicted" housemate will have immunity from next weeks' nominations.

Channel 4 KNOW Charley will be fake evicted tonight...and they're rubbing their hands with glee that if she is... she'll be there another fortnight because they've invented a pointless immunity from eviction next week. Why???? She received a large amount of votes to evict her from both housemates AND the public I imagine.... why on earth make her 'immune' if this is the case?????

This show stinks this season. Bin it. It's over.

Out of interest, is anyone here actually gonna be voting tonight?

Big Brother producers expect us to waste our money voting to evict a housemate, just to have them thrown back in the house again. Then again, there are people who are silly enough to do that  <_<

no... its because charley going back in will have the best effect on the other housemates! its the others reaction that be the best too see, not because i want to hate her more. the sooner shes gone after tonight the better.

ive never voted.... i dont intend too, i just dont care that much!

however ch4 have been totally upfront about it, its a fake eviction, you have the choice who to bring out then straight back in. if you want to waste your money then its up to each individual.

Big Brother producers fear 'Fight Night' 2

Big Brother producers have called up extra security staff for tonight's eviction show, over fears that the "fake" twist may lead to a bust-up in the house similar to the infamous 'Fight Night' from series five.

A report in The Sun claims that former members of the armed services have been requested in case tonight's twist, where one housemate is evicted and then sent back inside the house, causes a huge row.

Tonight's programme will see either Charley or Nicky come out of the house as normal, allowing them to watch who has nominated them this week. Meanwhile, the other housemates will be watching the whole show live on a TV screen, seeing exactly what the evictee thinks about them all.

Then as a final twist the evicted housemate will be thrown back into the house, immediately after their chat with Davina.

A similar twist in series five of the show created a bust-up that had to be resolved by security staff entering the house.

An insider commented: "These guys are the best there is at what they do. They can take people down in seconds. They will aim to subdue trouble-makers without causing lasting damage and pain.

"We do not want the show turning into Jerry Springer"

The insider added: "We'll have behaviour experts watching the monitors to spot potential bust-ups."

I'm interested in seeing how this actually pans out. Tickets to be in the audience went on sale like normal, so I'm wondering what's to stop someone shouting "it's fake, [insert housemate name]" while they're walking down to be interviewed.
If the housemates are gonna be watching the whole interview live, won't something like, who's the favourite to win, be given away by the audience?
Omg poor Charley :( shes gonna be kicked out booed to death and then to go in for another 2 week before gettin booted out again and having to go through the evil boos :(

I'm sure she's gonna get the worst reception ever but I doubt she'll care one bit, I honestly wouldn't!

Average Big Brother viewing figures after 6 weeks (from a thread on Digitalspy):

1. Series 3 - 5.8m

2. Series 5 - 5.0m

3. Series 1 - 4.7m

= Series 7 - 4.7m

5. Series 2 - 4.6m

= Series 4 - 4.6m

7. Series 6 - 4.4m

8. Series 8 - 3.6m

Well so far, this is by far the least amount of Big Brother that I've watched so far in a series. Anybody else having the same viewing pattern?

i will watch it as theres nothing else good really on....., but if i miss it it doesn't bother me as much as it would have in a previous series ;)
Eh why have BB got the crowd to be quiet? Now Charley will suspect something is going on and probebly won't be as honest in the interview. It makes no sence.
