Tbh though Gerry is a lot worse than Nicky.

He just makes me shiver with repulse, he's possibly the worst housemate they have had this year imo.

To add a little to this whole 'Nicky: miserable?' debate lol it was heavy editing on the editors' parts that helped her come across like this; obviously she was a little whiney sometimes but the editors need people to nickname the housemates; they need a 'whiney' one, a 'gobby' one etc so they do edit it to help those perceptions.

 

And to answer your point about why she was put up for eviction Mushyman, I think for a couple of reasons; she's clearly one of the more intelligent housemates (more so certainly than Brian, Charley, the twins, etc) and for her intelligent conversation were what she enjoyed, whereas she is in a house full of people who want to jump around in the poll and ask 'who is shakespeare'? AND, lol, the people up for eviction have differed greatly each week - there's a good chance she was just randomly up for eviction as those nominating need to have a random stab in the dark at which housemates are a threat in the overall race to win - they had already put several people up who hadn't gone.

Charley knows she's up for eviction this week so her putting on the waterworks and acting like she's sorry really wouldn't do anything for her. I always said she was insecure and used her aggression and argumentative side as a barrier. She's a nice girl underneath it all.

The only housemate I really stick up for Charley, and that's because I've seen more than meets the eye with her. If you've noticed me "sticking up" for her, you'd have also noticed how I'm the first one who brands her behaviour towards the other housemates as totally unacceptable and disgusting. I. DO. NOT. CONDONE. IT. As a housemate, I find her, as a whole, entertaining. Take away the arguments she gets involved inand the bitchy conversations and I'd still like her (probably more, actually).

I don't mind housemates playing the game, that's why. Chanelle's doing it. Ziggy's doing it. Brian's doing it. It's a reality TV gameshow where the housemates compete with eachother in order to win the £100,000 cash prize & the the winning title at the end. Up until the last three weeks, she's been playing a good game in the house and has been surviving each week by the skin of her teeth. Her days are numbered. I know that. You know that. She knows that. That's actually why I don't think she was being "fake" at all in tonight's highlight show because she has absolutely nothing to gain from it. I just get the feeling that she's finally realised that she looks very ugly when she's arguing with others and being aggressive & inconsiderate to the other housemates. She does have a genuinely softer side to her that I like. I noticed they left out a lot of the conversation that she, Gerry and Liam were having in the early hours of this morning. It was a nice one too, because she did look genuinely interested in what they both had to say. It was a nice conversation.

I still think it's pretty bad how Emily gets booted for saying one word not aimed to cause offence yet Charlie has been alowed to get away with swearing and bullying the over housemates constantly over the series.

how can they 'clever edit' something that didnt happen?... the fact of it is that she is a vile, unstable, thivk, gob$h!te for enough of the time to make her extremely unpopular. she is unable to controle her mouth, she is incapeable of rational adult conversation, we have all seen it broadcast on tv!

He's dumbing himself down. Think back to when he said he had no clue as to who William Shakespeare was - both his mother and his former secondary school headmaster both confirmed that he does indeed know who he is and has actually studied a couple of his plays for coursework. It makes you wonder what else he's told a little fib about, eh?! ;)

 

There are housemates I do like such as Carole, Brian, Sam and a couple of others. Charley seems to be the main talk in here though so I really don't bother discussing the other housemates in-depth like I do with Charley. She is my favourite housemate this series & provides me with the most entertainment out of everyone else in that house, yes, but having said that, she really isn't anybody I'd spend time with on the outside world.
