April 9, 200619 yr That's the why. I hate him cause he is the same as westlife. Nothing more than westlife to give...

April 9, 200619 yr Oh dear Charis I think you're going to be upset on tues when the mids are in and the week after as well, Shayne is going to be no1 in both charts, he'll be selling more than anyone else this year, until the next X-Factor winner comes along, he's selling on hype and flavour of the month now, after that he'll have to prove himself like everyone else. :)
April 9, 200619 yr There seems to be a lot of people on here who are liking this song now that they've given it a listen :D

April 10, 200619 yr I really am liking this song. Didnt like his previous one at all. Cant stop singing the damn thing all the time. I think it would make a good number one too.
April 10, 200619 yr Good song, hope go to number 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Hate the artist hope GNARLES stay at number one!!!!!!!!1 Charis you're contradicting yourself dear, do you like Shayne Ward or not? First you say you like the song and want it to do well, then you say you hate it? Please make yourself clear :)
April 11, 200619 yr I never said i liked Shayne ward. I like a little the song, but it's not the best ever heard...
April 11, 200619 yr OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH Shayne Ward is No.2 in the midweek sales, that's GREAT, i have told you this won't be a no.1!!!!
April 11, 200619 yr OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH Shayne Ward is No.2 in the midweek sales, that's GREAT, i have told you this won't be a no.1!!!! Yes CharIsma, on many occasions  and I predicted (and expected) him to sell at least 200k this week, I honestly thought he'd mirror Will's first year for some reason, maybe his sales will increase as the week goes on, anyway, one of us will be wrong come sunday.
April 11, 200619 yr its about quality not quantity  that is my philosophy, Neither Shayne or Westlife are "bad" in the sense that they can't sing, or their songs are rubbish, I have heard a lot worse songs - and the public have bought them by the bucketload. I have liked a number of Westlife songs even though I am no fan, and have never bought any. "I'm in a little world of my own" I liked that one. I don't think Shayne's song is bad, but it is the kind that washs over you with no real impression, I wonder how his album will do, possible people are waiting to buy that.
April 11, 200619 yr IMO Shayne's problem is he has nothing unique to offer. Throughout X Factor he sang well mimicing other artists styles. It seems the public fell in love with the show & not the winner, hence his massive first week sales.(helped of course being released immediately & it being Xmas week). I can't for one minute see Walsh & Cowell giving the lad any time to develop his own style. He's just a cash cow to them. Still think The album will be #1 next week with healthy sales but I think Louis needs to start singing from a different hymn sheet & stop boasting that there are 5 or 6 #1's on the album & it will sell a milion.
April 11, 200619 yr At best Ward is a passable karaoke singer, as he showed throughout XFactor (or was it Pop Idol? They kind of merge into a bland one-ness to me). His first single made Daniel O'Donnell seem radical and leftfield... this one carries on that tradition... a cheesy, lumpy old ballad that could have been written, sung and produced by anyone. It reeks of blandness..... and sounds like a song even Westlife would be iffy about - and that's something!
