Newly reformed Spice Girl members Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell have revelead who they want to join them on their World Tour as their support acts.

Emma, aka Baby Spice, has revealed that she wants British girl band, Girls Aloud, to join them on their multi million pound comeback tour. She said, "On the Take That tour they had Sugababes and Bevereley Knight, and I want some bigger acts than that! I would love Girls Aloud to join us. Now that would be brilliant!"

Geri, aka Ginger Spice, then went on to say, "It would be good to have Girls Aloud or some other success girl band as our support act because they would then continue girl power! We also want our support acts to stay with us throughout the tour, coming to America and China with us!"

Girls Aloud formed in 2002 and have since gone on to become Britains most successful female band since the Spice Girls. They have released more singles, and have had more top 10 singles than any other girl band.

BOOKIES have Girls Aloud as 2/1 favourite to be their support acts.

Jamelia is 4/1 favourite.

It could happen IMO!

Emma and Geri want it, I'm sure Victoria would want it too (considering she gets on with Cheryl very well)!

I don't know about Mel B, and Mel C may be against that...

But it would fit the 'girl power' concept! lol

Then I don't know if GA would accept, depending on when their album is released, but that could be a good deal for some worldwide introduction!

I HOPE ITS JAMELIA :cheer:

Omg they said they wanted a band more successful than Sugababes .... so they pick GA  they arent more successful

According to last albums and singles releases, GA are now more successful than SB ;)

Whole lotta history - Follow me home > GA wins

Easy - Something kinda ooh > GA wins

nothing - I think we're alone now > GA wins

Overload - The Sound of Girls Aloud > GA wins

+ they are more in the public eye (newspapers, adverts, ...).

Yeah, overall GA are more successful with the media, and also GA singles usually do better than Sugababes, but the babes albums sell more.

It's depending on the period :)

If you like at the Chemistry-Taller in more ways era, Sugababes were more successful!

But then with the Greatest Hits era, Girls Aloud took a large lead (just look at the GH sales!).

We'll see what happens with the next album, but at the moment yeah, GA are more successful and more appreciated!

Sugababes have had most hits than any other artist in since the year 2000, singles wise GA only get no.1 when they do charitable songs, none of their songs have got no.1 on their own back, they've never had a no.1 studio album, Sugababes have had 4 top 3 albums -_-

i started this rumour with my dream

and like someone said GA's songs are now on iTunes in America. And where are the Spicey ones starting :o

Yes, but we're talking about the PRESENT time! I've never said the SB have never been more successful than GA! I'm only saying that since 2006, their image and their sales have gone down while GA image & sales have gone up.

But it can change again of course ;)

plus if the SB were with/gonna be with Take That, then the Spice Girls will want different.

 turned into SB Vs GA thread

Id love it to be GA or Jamelia as i havent seen either live but ive seen Suga's

LMAO. A greatest hits doesnt count! In the UK Sugababes have 5 sold million albums over 4 studio albums and GH compared to sugababes selling 2 million over 3 studio albums and a GH.

It seems you CAN'T read.

I haven't said that GA had a more successful carrer than SB, I say that lately (since 2006) they are more popular & successful than them. That's all.

But given that in 2006 the sugababes released 3 singles, one of which was the 4th and final single from an album, thats just an utterly cr@p comparison!

Heres the real figures:

Each of GA's albums: 300,000 copies.

Each of Suga's albums from Angels With Dirty Faces, Three and Taller In More Ways: 900,000 copies.

Not to mention Push The Button being one of the biggest singles of 2005, shifting 300k, whilst GA's last huge single was Something Kinda Ooooh which sold 150k.

I think GA would be stupid to turn this down. It would be fantastic worldwide exposure for them!

Huh... don't get that hyper about it...

I am still only saying that since WLH (which was also the 4th single from the album but went to #6 lol) back in early 2006, GA have always had a lead on Sugababes.

Noone expected GA's GH to do so well, me neither, but it did. While Suga GH has been quite a flop.

Lmao - Suga's GH did not flop. It sold half a million. GA sold 900k, but when Suga's actual albums sell so much better, what could you expect :smoke:
