I've just had a Mumba revival, and remembered just how amazing she was  Apparently she's back later this year with a song called Personalities produced by no less than TIMBALAND :o

Her biggest hit Gotta Tell You - #2 in UK (robbed by Eminem's fab, but inferior, Real Slim Shady :() and #4 in US :o

Body II Body - #5 in UK, sampled Ashes To Ashes

Always Come Back To Your Love - #3 in UK

Baby Come On Over - #5 in UK and #49 in US

Lately - this is very Beverley Knight :o  - #6 () in UK

I'm Right Here - #5 in UK and #80 in US

ENJOY

I'm Right Here came from her second album, Woman, but because it flopped it was cancelled :(

I loved her soo much <3 some of them songs are classics! Lately, Body to Body, Baby come on over <3 all of them are great!

She was on that Channel 4 show recently and sung live for the first time LOL, she was good though! Hopefully the new song does well :D

I don't get why they cancelled Woman, Im right here was hardly a flop!
I say she'll fail miserably for the same reason why Rachel Stevens flopped and (as I believe) Leona Lewis will later this year... she has all the charisma of a dead slug. I saw that TV show where that rich dude tried to resurrect her career and she came across as a whiny, self-obsessed diva with no personality. If I could give Timbaland some advice I would say : "Listen ol' buddy I appreciate you're one of the most talented producers around, but you can't spray whipped cream on a turd and call it a chocolate delight. Some people are beyond help. So, don't bother." Seriously, if she goes top ten you can resurrect this thread and mock me till the cows come home, but until then I anticipate that this comeback will be slightly less successful than Five's. Or East 17's. Or All Saint's. Or... well, you get it..

Oh dear. :arrr:

I didn't realize she had done so well in the UK. :o I really liked her hit 'Gotta Tell You.' I always listened to it on my NOW album. ^_^

I think she came out with an underground best of collection a while ago at least leaking online. iTunes also put it up a few weeks ago too.

I think she may have jumped on the Timbaaland boat a tad too late. There are so many artists nowadays using him, she's just not going to stand out, and she hasn't the fanbase that Nelly and Justin have.
Not only is she really quite offensive on the eye but she also cannot sing. Shame, but she'll have a cr@p comeback if at all.

Kylie didn't rob her #2 single of #1, it was Eminem.

'Always Come Back To Your Love' and 'Baby Come On Over' are totally FAB.

You're right :o :(

oooo i LOVE Samantha Mumba, she should have Huge Success in the UK rather than these american RnB artists coming over and stealing her limelight -_-
I remember she was considered to be the black Britney Spears at the time, her sounds was very similar to hers. Too bad the musical climate has changed, unfortunately she has little chance of succeeding again.
Shes great  my fave is Always Come Back To Your Love
