April 29, 200619 yr Author Because hes from Liverpool the best team in the world. No. But they're the best in europe
April 29, 200619 yr That may be there title but its not true,Chelsea,Man U,Arsenal,Barca,ac,juve nd real are all better, plus Wigan. :P
April 29, 200619 yr Who give a flying **** ? I WANT the England team to do badly and come home after the first round as I can't stand this pathetic media hype As for Chelsea again who gives ? its a totally devalued title given they spend £70m a season to buy it, the real champions in EPL are the team that comes 2nd
April 29, 200619 yr Yeah but he hasn't spent a lot Abramovich has spent a good £70m a season and with Shevchenko arriving there in the summer and a couple of other players the same will happen again, it devalues the premiership, its like buying something over the counter at Tesco's now
April 29, 200619 yr In all seriousness though, whether United be 2nd or not I am inclined to agree with what you just said.
April 29, 200619 yr Darren Bent should be ahead of Crouch, but Sven is an Idiot and will pick Crouch over Bent. No he shouldn't. Peter Crouch would be a far better player for England than any other striker available. If Rooney is out then out hopes have definately been dashed. And let's face it, with Sven in charge we're not going to win it anyway are we? He is our key player. I think everyone else in the team is replaceable. David James is a good enough back up keeper, the back-up defence is good enough as is the midfield but the back up strikers? No, not good enough for a team that wants to win the world cup at all!
April 29, 200619 yr If Rooney is out then we're f*cked end of :( But if we DO have him then for once we have a team that actually has a chance to win the world cup. :o One player doesn't make a team but England are a TOTALLY different team when Rooney plays. Even if Chelsea didn't have the money then I think with Mourinho they would have won the league anyway if you look at their key players. ;) It pains me to say that as a Man U fan. :(

Don't post if you don't care.
April 29, 200619 yr Our hopes don't all lie on Rooney. Sure he's a good player and he'll be missed but winning the world cup is a team job and Rooney isn't the team. People can argue that when Rooney got injured against Portugal in euro 2004 all hope of us winnign ended which is true. However we were c*ap at euro 2004 and Sven focused his tactics all arond Rooney and other certain players like Gerrard and Beckham were not playing like they should do. Crouch would be a good enough partner for Owen, who is better than the over-rated Bent who isn't proven at England football yet, but to make matters worse Owen could also be injured along with Rooney and Terry, and Terry's injury looks more serious than first thought.
April 29, 200619 yr Well maybe I'm exxagerating but Rooney is the key man though ;) But of course people like Gerrard, Beckham, Owen and Lampard are also among the best which will hopefully be on their best forum. And I personally think we should take Defoe over Bent myself.
April 29, 200619 yr Who knows whats gonna happen but Sven will take half-fit players to Germany as he showed with Beckham in 2002. I'm hoping that all 3 players will be fine and will to Germany. Worse new is there is still two games left for most of the teams with the main England players in.
April 29, 200619 yr Author Well done Chelsea Newcastle were robbed. -_- :P You support Newcastle ? http://70.85.169.212/3615/28/emo/violin.gifcommiserations
April 29, 200619 yr You support Newcastle ? http://70.85.169.212/3615/28/emo/violin.gifcommiserations  My mum's also a Newcastle fan but only because she's fancies Alan Shearer  She says she might support Spurs next season though as she's always liked them :puke2:
April 29, 200619 yr well J.cole could play as a second forward to owen. he is such an underrated player,he is fast he's got great stamina and can score goals.
April 29, 200619 yr Well I think as much as he isn't left footed he does well for the left midfirld role myself. ;) He's done brilliantly this season for England AND Chelsea :D
