Like most, I think he's more of a tit for doing it! He's come under some deserved criticism from many for doing this. Glad the Tories seem to have taken a dive in popularity since Brown has become PM...

Bad timing certainly but the trip to Rwanda would have been organised weeks if not months ago and it was just bad timing that these floods occur when he had already made obligations in terms of this trip

Also there is very little that Cameron can do personally in Witney, it is best left to police and fire crews and so on, an MP having photoshoots in the area would get in rescue services way

agreed.

Definitely right to be in Rwanda.

Getting his priorities right. Where is the governments contribution to Live 8? Seems to largely ignored.

One cannot continue to let large amounts of the world population live in poverty.

He should be in Rwanda ... what's he gonna do in his constituency, the floor waters aren't gonna go down because he's there. It wouldn't achieve anything.
He's hardly going to Rwanda on "nice little jolly" is he....? And I think as has been pointed out, what can he actually do about the floods... No, I think that if I was living in his constituency and my house was under three feet of water, I would be more relieved to see a Fire Crew than some bloody politician to be honest....
exactly, what is Cameron going to do. Perform some kind of miracle and soak all of the water up into his body.
