Posted July 29, 200717 yr http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/foo...icle2096584.ece Quite an interesting article from The Times and they're right with just about all of them.
July 29, 200717 yr Bit harsh on Rebrov there He scored 11 league goals in his first season with us which is 1 less than Berbatov did last year so he didn't do that badly but then the Goonersaurus was fired and Rebrov didn't feature in Hoddle's plans, Hoddle damaged Rebrov's reputation, he was good in his first season
July 30, 200717 yr 23 Corrado Grabbi, Ternana to Blackburn Rovers, £6.75m, June 2001 The Italian striker scored two goals in 30 Premier League appearances. That’s £3.38m per goal. I thought he'd be there. He was a complete waste of time and money. -_-
July 30, 200717 yr Funny thing is that quite alot of the players mentioned on that list have made a name for themselves in the lower divisions or in other leagues around Europe. Shows how difficult the Premiership is for any new players, with how fast it is etc...
July 30, 200717 yr I agree with most but Samaras? Maybe 6mil is a bit too much but i've seen quite a few very good performances by him  Maybe i missed all the bad ones  Unsure about Shevchenko aswell atm, i know he's had a whole season now, but i still think it's a tad early to put him in the worst transfers of all time
July 30, 200717 yr £1m for each of year of your age is ridiculous, so therefore Shevcenko gets in there automatically for me. Barelona are far greater with one of the best deals for Henry. A lot of Chelsea  and Newcastle :cheer: And a bit harsh on Asprilla me thinks
July 30, 200717 yr Drogba took two years before he actually became decent in the Premiership, people are far too harsh on Shevchenko.
