Was 'One Word' succesful in the UK? I know it flopped in the US...

I loved the song though.

I used to love 'One Word' but looking back at that video, it wasn't so good really. The #9 was justified.
One Word was amazing  i bought it
"One Word" was an AWFUL song but had an amazing video. It wouldn't be nearly as much loved if it had a GA/Mutya style video

This was seriously my fave song EVER when it was released :D

but looking back now, it wasn't all that good :(

I liked "One Word". It's actually the only song from her I do like.

I re-listened to Changes (the album) last night :puke2:

they used some serious effects on One Word  and Suburbia

I absolutely ADORE One Word, was never overly keen on Suburbia though. I actually loved all of her singles. :o Redlight was meant to follow up One Word but since the album bombed and the single was hardly a smash hit it was cancelled. :(

I love Kelly, both her albums are awesome.

:(

One Word's video is based on traditional French cinema ("Alphaville" apparently), hence the stylisation.
What on earth were the Chicago producers thinking employing Kelly as Mama Morton? She's SO wrong on every level.... Morton is meant to be an embittered, middle aged, predatory lesbian.... she's woefully mis-cast.
Her second album is amazing but that is due to some good producers and writers. I don't think she has any talent. She just had some good people behind her on her second album. Adore "red light" and "One Word"
