Considering that Barlow and the rest of TT have done nothing but fuel the will he/won't he speculation all by themselves, I do wonder why Barlow all of a sudden now has decided to 'set the record straight'. But the thing that really pisses me off is that he has all but set it up for the press in their usual angle - Robbie snubs TT ... once again :rolleyes: There are many ways he could have said that Rob won't be appearing with them on tour, other than saying that Rob does not want to and won't be joining them. That, imo, makes Rob look all the worse in this whole thing especially as the press are already on the Robbie snubbed TT tangent.

 

If they met up, great, I'm glad they have come to some understanding although I doubt its being 'good buds' again :lol: :rolleyes: I just can't understand why Barlow has even commented about the meeting other than name dropping to get a write up and get people talking again. When is their tour kicking off again ?? It must be soon because from the looks of it the publicity machine is cranking up, with Barlow giving the big first crank :zzz:

Gary Barlow Rubishes Robbie Williams Reunion

 

 

 

Gary Barlow has rubbished stories that Robbie Williams is set to rejoin Take That for their world tour later this year.

 

The singer admits that he recently buried the hatchet with his old rival over dinner in LA, but denies the pair made plans for Robbie to reunite with his ex-bandmates.

 

He told GMTV: "Yes, we met. We had a great chat. He's really well and we're good buds again. It was the best meet-up we've had since 1996."

 

But when asked about Robbie joining his former band for their 22-date 'Beautiful World Tour' later this year, Gary replied with an emphatic: "No he won't be rejoining."

 

Robbie snubbed requests to join Take That on their comeback tour last year but stories recently emerged that he would consider rejoining the band to revive his ailing career. :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:

Gary Barlow has revealed how he's finally made piece with former bandmate Robbie WIlliams after ten years of hostility between the two.

 

The singer, who reformed chart-topping 90's boyband Take That with three of his ex-bandmates in 2005, revealed to GMTV this week that he's on speaking terms again with Williams after a rendezvous in Los Angeles. However, he's finally confirmed that Williams will not be rejoining the band at any of their upcoming shows.

 

"Yes, we met. We had a great chat. He's really well and we're good buds again," he told the morning chat show. "It was the best meet-up we've had since 1996."

 

Williams is thought to be working on a new solo set, which Take That are currently in the midst of a successful comeback which has included a number of arena tours. Barlow added to GMTV that where would be "no rejoin", but refused to speculate further.

 

Barlow and Williams were joined by Mark Owen for dinner at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles. A source for the Mirror adds, "There was no atmosphere between them. Robbie seemed dead chuffed they were there and gave them both a big hug. The three of them were then deep in conversation all night."

Yeah, that was good to see. Although I've tried to post a comment, but it willl not appear sadly. It only lets you make a short comment though. The more I think about this notion of Robbie 'needing' TT to 'rivive' his apperent flagging carear, the more ridiculous I realise it is. If either of them need eachother it is quite clearly them who need him. Think about it, if he went on their tour with them, they would be selling out stadiums from Australia all the way to Argentina, as oppose to failing to sell out half of their European dates despite them being in reletivly small arenas, or if he had've sung on their album with them, instead of failing to go #1 anywhere else but the UK, it no doubt would've been #1 all around the world. The logic if this idea of him needing them just gets more ridiculous by each article that is written. You really just have to laugh don't you? :rolleyes:

 

And on the Mirror's forum, I have posted out that Blog, changed bits and added bits as they take things away if they know it's from another site.
