From Laura Critchleys Myspace

We finally got to Saturday which was the only day I’d put aside for doing some USA shopping so I arrived at the shopping mall and within minutes of me scouting around my first shop I receive a call from… Robbie Williams… he knew I was in town and was calling to ask me if I’d like to record some vocals on his new album…I’m sorry girls but shopping had to come second on this instance!

So I recorded some of my vocals on three of his tracks that night (which were amazing by the way) and had a great Saturday night chilling with him and the guys from the Studio (and his gorgeous dogs!) Recording for Rob was an amazing experience as he’s been an inspiration to me for a very long time…not that I still have my Take That posters up or anything! ( I just haven’t got round to decorating yet!)

Btw, Laura Critchley supported Sugababes on their Overloaded tour ^_^

Thanks Simon :cheer:

Sounds exciting, all the people who've heard new songs he's written have all said they were amazing, like Max Beasly, Mark Ronson, Jonny, and now Laura. I can't wait for the new album. ^_^

' Me Neither'................... :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

Laura was featured a couple of months ago in The Observer Magazine & mentioned how RW so inspired her....she was very genuine about it & seems genuinely pleased that she was asked to put her vocals on the album.......

O''',....' The anticipation is just FAB....................

Yes, and interestingly Steve Power (Rob's old producer) produced her album :o And on her Myspace site (http://www.myspace.com/lauracritchleymyspace), and she even has reviews of her album 'Sometimes I' with what famous people have said, and Rob and Steve are among them

“I love Sometimes I!”

Robbie Williams

““The best album I’ve produced since I’ve been expecting you”

Steve Power

Laura continues to make high profile fans through myspace. Before Mika hit the big time, he and Laura used to exchange tips and ideas on how to break in to the industry and Robbie Williams' producer Steve Power agreed to produce her album after hearing the 4 songs on her profile. She has since been to LA for a photo shoot with Robbie Williams' photographer.

Robbie Williams Corrects TMZ

As British pop powerhouse Robbie Williams can attest, even TMZ gets it wrong every now and then.

The "Take That" crooner was spotted outside Ketchup last night and ignored a TMZ camera -- until asked about L.A. Galaxy's newest player: "David Geffen." Oops! Robbie was quick to laugh at the cameraman's blunder, correcting the photog's renewed attempts to get the question right.

Cheeky!

Click the link and you can watch the video...Also under the article is a collection of pics entitled Crack Is Whack which includes a pic of Robbie
