"If you've lost your faith in love and music then the end won't be long" - The Good Old Days

Has to be the best one  Do you agree? What are your other favourite lyrics?

Hmm that's a toughie. They've had some amazing lyrics but my favourites are the simplest ones tbh.

I'll have a think about this one and get back once I've thought of some ^_^

I completely agree with you there ^_^ That's what I think about all lyrics

"Is it cruel or kind not to speak my mind and to lie to you? Rather than hurt you" - Music When The Lights Go Out

Is another one for me!

That was fucking freaky then! I'd just put Music When The Lights Go Out on and my eyes were following your post and that bit came on at the same time

And obviously the classic "An ending fitting for the start, they twisted and tore our love apart" is another classic despite not really having any lyrical signifigance

Baddie's Boogie chorus provides a very PETE-ESQUE set of lyrics:

"I was thinking, it's a lousy life with a washed up wife. And a permanently plastered, pissed-up bastard"

That ranks high for me thesedays.

Yeah that one was actually my favourite lyric on that album

"What became of the workinh class?

Nikey, Reebok. Adidas,

Scratchcards, Tipples, Ecstacy

Hooray for the twenty first century"
