I have some good news.

 

According to www.freerecordshop.nl (Dutch Music Store) the DVD will be released in October.

 

Most of the time there are right with release dates

Not too long to wait then! :o Hopefully we get a live single like PTAH but that could be wishful thinking :P

 

This also explains the change in the official site, could it be a hint as to what the DVD might be like? Because for L&OTR they changed the site to match the DVD.

I really hope that this is true and hopefully we will get pure intuition as a single, at last!

things should start to happen soon, sony will give us some new info like a press release with info on her tour's success and update of how much she has sold in this era.

 

i'm sure PI will be a bonus track and i hope it will be used to promote the DVD but it might not, the question is timing if shakira is getting married in september then sony can't ask her to do promo work it would be unfair considering she has to plan it and go on honeymoon unless its been put back till later in the year. i want a surprise too like another bonus unreleased track :D

I can't believe she only done one UK show, I would have loved to see her. I'll just have to buy the DVD instead :(

I know :( Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani and Nelly Furtado all did/are doing multiple shows in the UK and Shakira only did one. Her people completely underestimate her UK fan base. She hasn't had the most consistent presence here, but her flops have been due to their incompetence rather than people not liking her.

Ino-_- If you think about it 2 have her singles ahev sold over 1 million copies here alone -_-

no new info, and you know what they say "no news is good news" but not in this case, no news is bad news!! sony should have started creating awareness if the release date is october 1st, i think its been delayed we'll know soon

I think if something doesn't come out in the next week or two we can assume it's been delayed. Perhaps they don't want it to be overshadowed by other releases around that time?

Apparently Free Record Shop isn't too reliable. I think they just put October 1st because they got wind that a DVD release was coming from Shakira, like an interim date.

that makes sense cause if she is getting married next month + going on honeymoon then this release date is not good timing for her. maybe early to mid november at the time of the film release and or when "L-O-V-E" is released when she has to do promo support for wyclef.

I think that you can read it with a simple DVD, Divx or PS3... There's just more (mo - go) !

this sounds reliable so november it is! i'm sure it will be on DVD format too not just bue ray "laser" and not forgetting VHS :wacko:

You can only play Blu Ray DVDs on Blu Ray players like PS3s, but I'm sure they'll release it in normal DVD format as well. Not enough people have Blu Ray players yet for them to release it just on that format.

 

According to one site, the extras will be a documentary and a discography.

ooo shakira DVD for xmas =D AND doc aswel sounds good.. hopefully they wont show snippits from every tour like the crowds, because i was at the front and we had to que up in the snow.. so lets just say i looked a state -_- lmao They will prob show clips of like egypt/russia/dubai/mexico City because they were special/ huge venues and then the concert will mostly be miami.. but the doc will be mostly showing those other places... we can prob expect an interview of shakira asking her what it feels like to have achieve/filled out so many venues this past year or so.. and what she will be doing next, i hope we get more details and get to see lots of behind the scenes.. if it is all gonna be oral fixation related we might see clips of behind the scenes world cup.. get album sales.. the new remixes from the site and pure intuition as a single... im hoping for alot here!
