October 8, 200717 yr i think so. i'm no expert :wacko: but i think this be the gist of it.....the blu ray "laser" has high definition video with higher video resolution but to get the full impact you need a HD TV. also the sound is better. its next generation tech so its got all round improvements. another thing the blu ray "laser" has much larger storage capacity thats its main feature, it can store 5 times more data than a dvd.

The UK release date might be later on so they can do some European promo for the DVD because that's probably where it'll sell the most. The CD version of Live and Off The Record was top 10 in the album charts of some European countries.

November 11, 200717 yr Out on tuesday in USA... i think they should just release it here on monday and not wait another week as.. there is no competition and it's not going to sell alot anyway as there was only one concert and nobody knows that it is out.. there wont be adverts or anything, so it's just really pointless, just release it already... another annoying thing is that pure intuition isn't being released to promote it.

The only promo that has been done is on the internet which is pretty rubbish IMO. I don't understand why they didn't get Shakira to do a couple of TV spots like she did with L&OTR.

I refuse to watch the full performances just yet though My friend was looking for a present for his mum, when as a joke I suggested the Oral Fixation tour DVD, and it turns out I made his mum a fan, so he pre-ordered it for her! :lol: Oh apparently HMV are going to be stocking LOADS in shops, and they'll be selling for £13.99
