August 5, 200717 yr Come on Kanye, tread that vile man 6 feet into the ground. :smoke: That'll probably happen! ;)
August 5, 200717 yr I think people are going to be surprised by the success of Kanye in the UK. UK Wise = Kanye US Wise = 50 Cent Overall = 50 Cent :(
August 5, 200717 yr Author I think people are going to be surprised by the success of Kanye in the UK. UK Wise = Kanye US Wise = 50 Cent Overall = 50 Cent :( Exactly how I view it :o 50 Cent will sell like mad in the first week of the USA, probably over 700,000
August 5, 200717 yr mr west will get it 50 cent is past his time no one really cares about him anymore and his music isnt nothing new so gooooo mr west hahha
August 5, 200717 yr I don't like him as a person, but some of his songs are quite good. Not so much his latest efforts, but stuff from his "Get Rich ..." & "The Massacre" album. Your right but I think that 50 CENT will come on top ;)
August 11, 200717 yr "I'd rather come out on a day like that, up against 50 — where people are excited about going to the stores and it's an event and people talk about it — and be #2 on that day rather than come out and be #1 on a day nobody cares about," West said. "It's about things going down in history. It's not that much exciting stuff in hip-hop right now. I think people are going to make it more than what I'm making it myself. At the end of the day, I'm making music and I'm trying to sell." I see Kanye's ego is just as big as ever  Anyway, I think 50 Cent will get the #1 in the US but Kanye will do better in the UK.
August 11, 200717 yr 50 Cent has threatened to quit music if Kanye West's new album sells more than his. The rappers both have albums coming out on September 11 - 50's entitled 'Curtis' and West's called 'Graduation'. In an interview with SOHH.com, 50 Cent said "Let's raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer write music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out anymore solo albums." His records have historically sold more than West's, with 2005's 'The Massacre' selling 1.4 million copies in its first week, and going on to become the best-selling album of that year Source: NME.com Not that I believe that for one second like. It's not that it means much either but Kanye's beating Fiddy on iTunes pre-order sales at the moment.
August 12, 200717 yr Ugh are you joking? Kanye WHAT ON EARTH are you doing? Just when we could have been rid of that dire excuse for a rapper you go and change your release date. No doubt he'll "pen" a track about how he won the battle without having to take any bullets or whatever it is he does nowadays.
August 12, 200717 yr Author Yeah, Kanye's date has been changed as 50 Cent has been taking it too seriously I think: 50 CENT WINS!! KANYE'S ALBUM CHANGES RELEASE DATE!!! August 11, 2007. Looks like the Clash Of The Titans that was scheduled to take place between 50 Cent's album Curtis and Kanye West's album Graduation is not going to happen. According to one of MediaTakeOut.com's most reliable Def Jam sources - Kanye West's album will not be released on September 11th. According to a top Def Jam exec, the battle is officially over. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "It sounded like a good idea at first, but not anymore ... It was just a friendly competition and now [50 Cent's team] is trying to make it into a battle to the death." The exec added, "Kanye is one of [Def Jam's] most successful artist, we're not going to risk damaging his career with this feud." Source: Mediatakeout
August 12, 200717 yr I don't know what Kanye's people are doing to be honest, I think he'd have actually won the battle as such, but I hope he pushes the album forward now instead of back as Stronger's gonna have been avaliable for like a month by the time his album comes out right?

Even longer than that :( Stronger download was released 06/08 and the album wasn't due until 10/09 in UK pushed back to 17/09 is 6 weeks after download release TBH I think it will be brough forward to 03/09 then there can be a decent battle between Hard-Fi and West

August 12, 200717 yr I think the rumour is fake. His single is racing up the charts - he has no reason to push it back, IMO. If it is true, then ugh.
August 12, 200717 yr Fiddy looks more like Busta Rhymes taking a dump on his album than 50 cent, curtis, worst album title ever, even worst than the famous Public Enemy one
August 13, 200717 yr Author Apparently Kanye West changing his release date hasn't been confirmed yet so he might not do, even though there was an article on BBC website about him changing it -_-
August 15, 200717 yr I don't think it has changed  There was a big double paged spread about it in The Independant yesterday, I could scan it later if anyone wanted.
