August 7, 200717 yr Some people said is about death, others about Shirley's childhood. But I read somewhere about this song and I can say that: when Shirley was in high school, a boy killed himself, and she wrote that song about him. Look here at post #9
August 7, 200717 yr I just took the words "baby thinks he's dying" and assumed it was about cot death or something (I also read a magazine somewhere which hinted at it ages ago) but the suicide probably makes more sense. Gorgeous song though, my favourite from all their album tracks (despite the morbid subject matter).
