The two I can think of is Lucie Silvas and Nerina Pallot. Both of lucie's albums are amazing and hopefully her new single, 'Sinking In' will do well when it's released soon. And Nerina's album's fantastic too! :D

Natalie Bassingthwaighte (what a long name! :D ) isn't so underrated (at least in Australia she's very known especially for a role in TV show Neighbours).

She caught my attention by Rogue Traders' hit Voodoo Child (I thought she sing like Saffron from Republica).

Jo O Meara was underated.

Sophie Ellis Bextor - glad she's appreciated but her songs are very good.

 

Petra/September - Amazing voice, up there with the likes of Natasha bedingfield.

 

Sarah Nixey - should be as sucsessful as Alison Golfrapp

 

Manda Rin - genius.

 

Give me those lot over some of the more famous ladies about any day.

I COMPLETELY agree Rachel Stevens is under-rated. As a pop artist, she is AMAZING and her album is in my opinion one of the best pop albums ever produced.

 

But, I totally have to praise you Rob for your comments on Lucie Silvas. Obviously I'm a huge fan, but it's great to see someone else commending her on her quite obvious talent, and she deserves to be one of the best selling females in the world, if not the UK IMO. Her voice is amazing (honestly, I believe it rivals Xtina's), and some of her songs are masterpieces. And she's down-to-earth and geniuine with it.

 

Also agree on Bev Knight.
