Ok i have just read the Funky Dory sales for the origanl and the reissue are over 310,000 thus making the album platinum. Is this true or are the sales incorrect.

It also says the reissue sold 14,600 copies in its first week.

I think it is true, the original peaked at #9 re-issue peaked at #13 and i know sales were higher back then, i'm not sure how much they sold each but i know the re-issue stayed around longer than the original.

Yeah I heard it actually went platinum. The tricky thing is though you don't actually need to SELL 300k to be certified platinum, it's all shipments nowadays.

Like Janet Jackson for instance, in the US you need 1m sales to be certified platinum. However, Janet's latest offering barely sold 500k and was certified platinum. So Rachel didn't necessarily sell 300k, I would imagine round about 250k(ish) still a platinum certification is a platinum certification. ^_^

i have to say, i do prefer CAGI over FD, and i dont get how CAGI didnt do better....

Same here. -_-

I think people got bored of her, she never performed live which probably gave off the impression she couldnt or was too afraid to, she dropped the raunchy sexy look she had in her first 4 videos, i think her album leaked, it was a lot of things, but overall i think people were fed up with the fact she wasn't showing that she was a credible artist. Yes FD was certified Platinum but she had to release it twice to earn it.

CAGI deserved double platinum if FD got platinum -_-

More than double platinum!!! FD isn't worthy of being a slave to CAGI, FD should be thrown away it only has 3 or 4 good songs on it!
