Not exactly a "Robbie sighting", but I've been watching the new Kelsey Grammer show called "Back To You". And the weather girl looked SO familiar, but I didn't think much about it.

 

I was kind of half watching it this week and the credits rolled at the start of the show...again, noting "something" in my sleepy brain but too sleepy to catch on. Then in the middle of the show I sat up and said "THAT'S ROBBIE'S GIRLFRIEND!!!"

 

Ayda plays the weathergirl on "Back to You"! It's probably been mentioned before, but again, I guess I've been half paying attention, LOL!

Found this interesting artice on the web today.....remember the track that she did with Cee-Lo-Green of Gnarls Barkley ...' Lil Star'...got loads of radio airplay...

Guy Chambers has work with her as her name is mentioned in his BIOG...so looks like there is some truth in it....( not quite sure what shopping a collborative album means....)....she is not what you would call a mainstream artist bu she is interesting...

 

Nas’ wife, R&B crooner Kelis, has been dropped by Jive Records.

 

The singer’s manger, Jeff Rabhan, recently broke the news to Entertainment Weekly.

 

Kelis began her recording career on Virgin Records but ended up on Jive via the SonyBMG merger.

 

Her last album on Jive, Kelis Was Here, failed to achieve the success of her previous albums.

 

“It was a case of being in the ever-shrinking world of the record industry and finding herself on a label she wasn't signed to and without a champion,” Rabhan said. “She’s a different kind of artist — very image and style-driven. It's either something you get or you don't.”

 

Rabhan revealed that Kelis is working on an independent dance record with Cee-Lo Green of Gnarls Barkley and is shopping a collborative album with British pop star Robbie Williams.

 

The singer is also in negotiations to host a reality fashion show on VH1 and is auditioning for various movie and TV roles.

 

“We're not opposed to another major label deal, but it would have to be non-traditional,” said Rabhan

A little late for the US people, but thank God for Tivo's Wishlist! It caught Robbie on Jools Holland on the Fuse channel...back when he was promoting IC. I think it came on Tuesday night or something.

 

He sang Radio, No Regrets (which they cut out for some reason!!!), and Feel. Jools also did a short interview with him concerning the release of "Feel" the book.
