I don't know about Bosnia, Serbia and Macedonia but when we were going on a school trip last year to Spain, Slovenians were causing trouble again. They are always "strict". We all had to leave the bus to a passport check while someone was in our bus, looking for god knows what

I know such things always happen on the Slovenia-Croatia border

When I traveled to Hungary, everyone was quite friendly ^_^ but that might have been due to the group size  There were only 16-17 of us, with 2 teachers I think....

Yes, but that's always different. It depends on which men is checking. They need to ask what you took, it's their job.

For example, people were nicer on our way back from Bosnia, then when we were going there. But, they were ok, both times.

As for Slovenia, I think they're strict because they're in EU.

Answer. -_-

For people who aren't from Serbia is easier, simply because people here in Serbia have old passport on which is still written Yugoslavia (from the time when Serbia and Montenegro were one country). Anyway, till 2010., in 2009. all people in Serbia will have new passports and it's point is that we don't need visas for countries in EU. Some people in here, already have it.

Now about the history, that doesn't make any problem on duty. But in countries you can always find peoples with different opinions.

yeah <_< and when those people work on the border.. Some people are still stuck in that "recent history" lol and can't look at things in any other way.

Hmmmm. That's not so bad then. I noticed you all now vote for each other at Eurovision so I guessed most of you must be back on reasonably friendly terms. ^_^

Yes, exactly, there are a lot of people with that opinion.

My opinion, even if they work on the border they just can't express their opinion there. If somebody see that, they'd lose their job easily.

yeah I know it's their job, of course.... but they always cause trouble on the border. How could a bus of young children who are only having a short drive through the country  harm them? :P and yeah, being in the EU makes them think they're somehow better than the rest of us :kink:

Hm, I don't know are the Eurovision votes friendly. To clear some things, in Croatia, there are Serbs, in Serbia, there are Croatians, so they vote. And one more good thing, we understand each other, it was all the same language some time ago. People in here like to hear song they understand.

 have you seen the pic about those European clans in the Eurovision forum???? omg I have to post it here

I've never liked the Croatian songs at Eurovision. Bosnian and Serbian are always better imo. We just copy the rest of the Europe and we should offer something that's proper Croatian -_-

It is very recent history though. You need to be patient. Just look at Scotland and England. We have always fought each other throughout history, well, up till about 1745 anyway.....

And now we just adore each other. Ain't that right Sparkle? :w00t:
