what happened :o I can't wait for you to tell me!!! :o

There are loads of horses in fields near my house. A few months ago me and a friend decided to go for a 'keep fit' walk, taking us past the horses field. Knowing the horses would be there, I filled a bag with carrots, sugar lumps etc. And I also spread raspberry jam on a big slice of bread (horses love jammy bread  ). Anyway, off we went. But when we reached the horsey fields, all the horses were gone (moved to another field).

Disappointed and determined to get rid of the contents of my bag, I eventually spied a solitary horse (quite a stupid looking thing actually) standing in a field 1/2 a mile away. It wasn't easily accessible but I climbed hill and dale, fought my way through the nettles, and got within carrot throwing distance of said horsey. So I threw my carrots. This horse was obviously not the full shilling. It looked up in the air, followed the projectory of the carrot, then trotted off on the opposite direction trying to find it. Again and again it did that. Then I managed to land a carrot right next to its foot. But it stood on it and proceeded to look around bewildered.

'Oh for God's sake' exclaimed friend. 'Throw your carrots right at the thing. We'll be here all night'.

Anyway -_- by then I'd run out of carrots so I extracted the big slice of jammy loaf and launched it right at the idiot horsey. My aim was too good. :( The jammy loaf hit the horse on its lovely groomed mane. And stuck to it. The horse looked a bit perplexed but the jammy bread stayed attached. So myself and friend made a sharp exit.

The next time we walked past the field there was a big 'Do Not Feed The Horse' sign up.
