August 15, 200717 yr Britney Spears The hype around her is SO huge at the moment, all she needs is a decent-ish song and her success will explode. The album sales will definitely match In The Zone on a worldwide scale. Leona Lewis I suppose this depends which direction she takes...if she has original R&B style-songs then she'll be big. Madonna I don't think there'll be a new R&B sound :P Bjork worked with Timbo but she didn't go all urban  I think her sound will stay dance-ish and this album will be almost as successful as Confessions. Mariah Carey If the marketing for and quality of this album are anything like Emancipation, she'll have another absolutely massive hit on her hands. Whitney Houston Well she's cleaned up now, but I think her musical style isn't really what's hot right now...maybe she'll surprise us all though! Delta Goodrem This girl is stuck in a bit of a lull :arrr: They don't seem to be able to decide whether her music is aimed at teenagers or adults, so the sales in the UK have slowed rather! She'll be successful in Oz and maybe Europe, but not the UK. Anastacia If all of the women on this page released in 08, Ana's album would be the biggest seller of the lot. Her previous album is my all-time favourite album, and if she keeps her rock edge then she'll carry on making big waves. Jennifer Lopez Jen will probably outsell Rebirth with 'Brave'; the signs are good, as both singles have had a brilliant reaction. Kylie Minogue (Dannii might have a new album out soon too, not that she is big lol) I'd be willing to bet my house on her next album selling at least a million in the UK! I can't remember a time when a comeback was so hugely anticipated, and I think she has the potential to do well Stateside too... The Sugababes Again I think their new album will match the success of the previous three by going triple platinum in the UK; the music seems, from the lead single, like it will be as amazing as ever, plus there's the addition of Amelle to keep public and press interest high. Girls Aloud The video hardly seems high budgeted  Only in comparison with their previous efforts! Still, the song will go Top 3 and the album will follow suit, though I think they still wont break the double-platinum barrier in the UK. Kt Tunstall I think this album will be more successful :P I'd be willing to predict at least a million sales on both sides of the Atlantic.
August 15, 200717 yr Kylie's comeback will doubtlessly be HUGE here. There's a lot of hysteria surrounding it right now, the media have been hyping it up since it was in the beginning of the recording stages, so the first single will be huge no matter what it is, and the album will start off really well (it'd be even better if it was released in the christmas market), I'm pretty certain she can keep up the momentum aswell, I have a feeling the album shall become a million seller. ^_^
August 15, 200717 yr What about Janet, although if this album isnt big it will defenitley be the end of her. Erm hoping that Mariah will be huge again, and have some good uptempo songs but she should stay away from having too many rappers on it. Don't like most of the others above, although i do hope Kt does well, and that Leona is huge worldwide as long as she doesnt rip Mariah off too much.
August 15, 200717 yr i see madonna and kylie dominating in the UK especially madonna with timbaland and justin by her side she will be very strong. kylie can release anything and she'll reach #1 the public and the media want her to do well with her comeback, she has huge support and sales success is guaranteed for her. britney her private life could over shadow her music and that could lead to under performing. its risky her people should wait till early next year so they can repair her image before releasing flopping i see leona she is not in the same league as the others, imo she is lacking in presence and personality. what she is is a very good karaoke singer, very similar to whitney which makes her not very distinctive. her people will be making her do blanket promo work here to try and get that huge tv audience to buy into her again. but i don't think it will work long term whitney needs amazing songs that appeal to younger generation cause her singing style is dated. her voice alone won't give her guaranteed success but she can great potential and her people are taking their time with her comeback which could mean some amazing songs have been given to her. anastacia will do really well a huge album seller here. j-lo....huge flop!! trying to do the spanish and english album combo crossover like shakira hasn't worked so far and won't work. the bar has been risen worldwide i see madonna and mariah selling more than all the others
August 15, 200717 yr Britney Spears The lead single will be big, as will initial sales, but unless she has anything decent to follow up, her comeback will crumble. Leona Lewis Does anyone really care about her anymore? The hype train has gone imo, people will be surprised by how she'll underperform Madonna I've never liked her, and working with timbaland/JT is just jumping on a bandwagon which is nearly out of steam IMO. I don't expect anything worth a purchase, but then again with her I never have. Mariah Carey She seemed to get the balance right with TEOM; classic mixed with modern, so mabye if she advances that ie hip hop infuence but the belters are still there, her sales should remain respectable, although she could do a Janet Whitney Houston b*tch is past it Delta Goodrem This album will decide the rest of her career. I can't see her going for anything too different from what she's ever done before, so let's hope the public regain an interest in it. Anastacia Will sell double platinum perhaps? Mabye one big single Jennifer Lopez Eugh.. Desite her blatant copying of what a superior latin artist did two years ago [which was more successful and musically better to what Jen can ever hope of] I can't see it doing too much better than her last album. #1 album in the US, mabye here..but she has pretty much kicked herself with extreme overkill over the past five years, bad personal life decisions and bringing negative attention due to her fur wearing and attitude. Kylie Minogue Will be big [unfortunately] - but anything byher will be simply because it's ''Kylie'' she is a blank canvass for other people to work their magic. The Sugababes IMO they have past the sell by date. they may still be good, but not like they used to. When Mutya left they lost something..something she had. Girls Aloud as above ^^ I can't see this breaking 500K, although I haven't heard [nor do i want to] there newest single, although the dire title seems to say it all.. Kt Tunstall Will do well initially, but there is 1000 other female singer songwriters waiting to take her place
August 15, 200717 yr Anastacia all the way! She's following the same style as the "Anastacia" album (thankgod not those boring songs of POAD) so she'll wipe out Europe as always. :smoke: Kylie will be pretty big to! :D Anastacia; this won't be as big as the Anastacia album, the floppage of the Pieces Of A Dream single was a worrying sign. I expect the album to sell well and go top 10, though not #1. Maybe the first couple of singles could go top 20? Well she's ditching the Pieces Of A Dream-ballad style and working with the same people she worked with on the 3rd album and apparntly the same guy who produces Alanis Morrisets albums. Oh and the gh has almost sold about 500k in the uk apparntly. :o
August 15, 200717 yr Mariah Carey and Madonna Sold excatly the same amount of copies of thier last albums Last I checked Mimi was at 10.1m and Confessions was waaaay down at 8.1m or something? :/
August 15, 200717 yr I think Madonna will flop, her album will end out like Ray Of Light I think, RnB just isn't for her. :manson: I mean, seriously! What RnB fans who are big fans of Timbaland, Mariah, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, etc. etc. are going to by a Madonn album?
August 15, 200717 yr I'm not believing Madonna's going in an R&B direction until I actually hear it with my own ears.
August 15, 200717 yr Mariah Carey and Madonna Sold excatly the same amount of copies of thier last albums, and again I think with there new albums they sell the same again as each other, Kylie will do well in Europe, Not sure bout Britney but I don't think it will be big, and the others will just sell 'ok' . Nope Mariah's last album sold about 1.5 Million more than Madonna's. And NO before the Madonna fans have a fit, i prefer Madonna actually, but Mariah beat it ^_^ Confessions - 8.5 - 9 Million Mimi - 10 Million

What RnB fans who are big fans of Timbaland, Mariah, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, etc. etc. are going to by a Madonn album? Hopefully she comes back with 'Ray Of Light' style Era. Thats when she was best
August 15, 200717 yr Last I checked Mimi was at 10.1m and Confessions was waaaay down at 8.1m or something? :/ Not sure about 10 million but TEOM did defenitley outsell it,last i reembered was around 9.3 million and Confessions was about what you said.
August 15, 200717 yr Hopefully she comes back with 'Ray Of Light' style Era. Thats when she was best  Strangely, even though I cant stand Madonna, thats the era I would prefer to listen to. I thought it was a really raw era, raw image, raw music vocals, etc. Although I hope she dosn't do anything like American Pie, awful song. :puke2:
August 15, 200717 yr Britney Spears Hoping she does well i think she will :D Leona Lewis think this will do well if the first singles aregood enough and she puts enough promo in  Madonna will do well worldwide i think but not her best Mariah Carey same as Madonna Whitney Houston Very unsure...could go either way Delta Goodrem will do well in Australia could be a minor hit in the UK i reckon if shes lucky Anastacia she will do well in the Uk Jennifer Lopez i reckon it will do ok in the UK and good in the US Kylie Minogue of course it will do amazingly! The Sugababes scrape platinum in the uk Girls Aloud same as Sugas Kt Tunstall i can see it going double platinum in the UK and maybe Gold in the US
August 15, 200717 yr I'm not believing Madonna's going in an R&B direction until I actually hear it with my own ears. Absolutely, its just a load of balls people are assuming is true because she's worked with Timbaland - we don't even know how many of their tracks will be on the album.
August 15, 200717 yr Here Look at 22 and 23, Mediatraffic can't really be trusted, especailly as they only count the sales for when the album was in their top 40. And record companies always inflate sales. Both albums have definatly sold between 9-10m, there is not a huge different most definatly.

Yea, Just wanted to point out fact they both sold approx the same and think they will both sell another 8 million each for thier new albums, But they both have to pick superb lead singles if they wanna sell well!!
