We could do with one of these threads. ^_^ There seem to be alot of anniversarys coming up, like Slane, also the big 10 years since his debut album. This is where it should be posted. B)

Obviously we won't know what happened everyday, but the significant things will obviously be known.

On This Day In Robbie History - 19th of August 2006

He played to 50,000 people in Vienna, it was broadcast to an estimated 500 million people accross the world on the radio. :w00t:

I listened to it on FM104 here in Ireland, but have it all on my Ipod. Was a great gig. I cannot believe it's been a year :o

That was a year ago! :o Time really goes fast! :o

I remember where and when I was listening it. I was in Budapest (Hungary), just came to see my family. I didn't think I'll be able to listen it, as on the list of the countries who will play it, there wasn't Hungary. But, I decided to try, I turn on mp3 player and start my search and then I found one radio station which played it. :w00t: I was so happy listening it... Still remember that feeling.

I thought today was Slane's anniversary, but it was yesterday. :(

Yesterday In Robbie History - 28th Of August 1999 - Robbie performed to 82,000 + at Slane Castle in Ireland     :yahoo: :w00t:

THE BEST GIG I'VE EVER SEEN  . One of the best nights of my life. If you ask me Rob has never done a gig as good as Slane, it was just so raw and magical. No silly dancers, mega special effects, it was more like a rock gig. Just simply legendary. It annoys me so much that so few fans have seen it in full, EMI seriously should be ashamed. This needs DVD release so it can be seen by the masses.

Can't believe it's been 8 years :o

Here is a great slideshow, thanks to PR

The only vids available

It's Not Unusual

Karma Killer

Wonderwall

I videoed the whole concert. I've hunted high and low for the video to transfer it to dvd. But I can't find it. The only video I can find is of the shortened 'highlights' version. I seriously fear I've taped over the concert at some point.

At least you didn't copy over your wedding, which....uhhhh...I did.
