I think it's pretty awful also, tbh :lol:

 

The only decent songs were 'Flashback' and 'This is love'

 

I tried to like it, but it's so predictable, and bland :(

It just plays it so safe, it loses anything it could have going for it. IMO Kelly shines on ballads, and that's what made 'Simply deep' so great, she knew her strong point, took advantage of it, and the results were obviously good. Ms Kelly is just a really predictable R&B album, which may show promise in some parts, but tries to be something she can't casrry.

Hmm...I hate Simply Deep lol. This is so much more instant; there's everything, too - hot club songs like Work and Comeback to laid back smooth material like Ghetto and memorable ballads such as Love and Ex. Simply Deep had nothing memorable whatsoever :lol:

I really find Ms Kelly totally forgettable :lol: Especially when you know she's capable of better, it just feels so generic and uninspired, although everyone has their opinion :P

 

I love Simply Deep, but it perhaps tales a while to get into. Stole, Dilemma, Can't Nobody, Love/Hate, [Love Lives In] Strange Places, Haven't Told You, Train On A Track & Beyond Imagination, they're all amazing :wub: I think the whole 'slow jam' style suits her down to the ground, both in terms of image and vocally.

I absolutley love that song. The only songs I like from Ms Kelly are Put It In, Like This, Love and Still In Love With My Ex
