well at least take that have managed to make a better couple of records than the rubbish that they managed before (exclusing-robbie records but plus gary barlow solo) even tho it includes getting in songwriter for hire John Shanks

I dont think any band who reforms should be classed as sad especially when both DD and TT have fans who have made sell out gigs, I mean thats not sad thats business and marketing

Yes Rudebox has only sold several million copies so far and it has gone to number one on the album charts in at least nine different countries... yes what an aweful effort indeed :drama:

Take That, Duran Duran just aren't my thing really. I'm surprised there's so much love for 'Radio' in here :o I think it's one of Robbie's worst tbh. But yes Al you're right, it is the best song around written by a former member of Take That and a former member of Duran Duran :lol:

Duran Duran never spilt up - they just had some line-up changes.

 

Whilst Take That made some great pop songs, they simply aren't, and were never, in the same league as Duran Duran.

Rudebox was widely slammed throughout the media, the title track was a hugely laughable joke, almost ruined any credibility he had as an artist.

And even if we do go by sales, Rudebox's UK sales were below expectations, especially given this is a man who could sell a million copies of an album consisting of farting noises.

For anyone interested, Rudebox is in the current Woolworths sale.
