August 20, 200717 yr I like Radio and think that both Robbie and Stephen are fantastic at what they do :)
August 21, 200717 yr of Take That is just sad Just as sad as Robbie's latest attempts to write music on his own. Take That- with a doubt. Edited August 21, 200717 yr by locott
August 21, 200717 yr Author Duran Duran with ease....Take That were ok in the 90's, but the reformation of Take That is just sad :( the reformation of take that is just sad. if so what does that make the reformation of duran duran. well at least take that have managed to make a better couple of records than the rubbish that they managed before (exclusing-robbie records but plus gary barlow solo) even tho it includes getting in songwriter for hire John Shanks http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/eb/LL-Over.jpg

August 23, 200717 yr I dont think any band who reforms should be classed as sad especially when both DD and TT have fans who have made sell out gigs, I mean thats not sad thats business and marketing
August 27, 200717 yr Just as sad as Robbie's latest attempts to write music on his own. Yes Rudebox has only sold several million copies so far and it has gone to number one on the album charts in at least nine different countries... yes what an aweful effort indeed :drama: the reformation of take that is just sad. if so what does that make the reformation of duran duran. I was basically saying that TT were ok but i dont like them since they reformed...whereas I still love DD ;)
August 27, 200717 yr Take That, Duran Duran just aren't my thing really. I'm surprised there's so much love for 'Radio' in here :o I think it's one of Robbie's worst tbh. But yes Al you're right, it is the best song around written by a former member of Take That and a former member of Duran Duran
August 27, 200717 yr the reformation of take that is just sad. if so what does that make the reformation of duran duran. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/eb/LL-Over.jpg Duran Duran never spilt up - they just had some line-up changes. Whilst Take That made some great pop songs, they simply aren't, and were never, in the same league as Duran Duran.
August 27, 200717 yr Yes Rudebox has only sold several million copies so far and it has gone to number one on the album charts in at least nine different countries... yes what an aweful effort indeed :drama: Since when did sales ever equal quality? Rudebox was widely slammed throughout the media, the title track was a hugely laughable joke, almost ruined any credibility he had as an artist. And even if we do go by sales, Rudebox's UK sales were below expectations, especially given this is a man who could sell a million copies of an album consisting of farting noises.

August 29, 200717 yr So nice to see intelligent debate rife in this thread :) I don't need to prove my intelligence to the likes of you
August 29, 200717 yr I don't need to prove my intelligence to the likes of you  Maybe not, but when most people have an argument to make, they don't have to resort to silly throwaway comments and a smilie, whilst completely avoiding the point. If you weren't bothered to actually say what the "flaws" in my post were, don't bother commenting at all, especially not with juvenile c**p.
August 30, 200717 yr Author don't bother commenting at all, especially not with juvenile c**p. juvenile c**p. you know this is the pop area dont you!!!
September 14, 200717 yr I would have to say, due to my age, that Duran Duran is my choice. Take That do make good records as well.
