Sorry if this sounds very negative but I am a bit worried to be honest. Her album hasnt done well and neither have the last two singles. Catch you only made no8 and dipped quickly. I really hope the record company keep her on cos the new album is the best stuff she has done to date.

Its too early to tell, but here are the facts:

*Catch You peaked at #8 and sold nearly 60k, which is decent.

*Me & My Imagination missed Top 20 and sold little, which isn't good.

*Today The Sun's On Us scraped Top 75 and so is a total flop.

*Trip The Light Fantastic had a good Top 10 debut but dropped like Paris Hiltons' skirt and has only sold 35k.

So unless things improve considerably - and I mean a silver selling album - I think she's in dropzone

Realistically, I think it's a possibility. I suppose it all depends on how well the fourth and fifth (if we get one) singles perform and how well the album sells all together.
Apparently though tickets for the tour are selling very slowly

Short answer - no shes not getting dropped

Says the person who believes Fascination couldn't care less about Sophie's sales.
Like I said in another topic, no matter how wonderful Sophie is and how much she doesn't deserve to get dropped, the music industry is a business like any other and they need to make their money, so I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
It will be If You Go that will save her, Supersonic is not strong enough to be a single.

Well tbh, everyone says 'If You Go' is the song to save her, and I've heard it and as a casual Sophie fan (I have her first album only) I have to say it's as c**p as everything else from this album  I don't see how this will do any better than her last few singles, and this is the best she has?

It's looking like a yes imo :(

If You Go is one of her best recordings. If it does get released and does flop it won't be because it's not good, it will be because of the lack of promotion and the fact that Sophie isn't as popular as she once was, which is unfortunate. I don't know how you can say that everything on this album is "c**p"... it's seriously her best album to date.
I do sort of agree, Trip The Light Fantastic is full of exactly the kind of pop goodness we need to get back into the charts again! Unfortunately as pure pop isn't exactly hot right now and Sophie's nowhere near as popular as she once was, she doesn't get the kind of recognition she deserves. :(
i dont think she will get dropped i think a greatest hits will be next and if that doesnt do well she will be dropped
I loved Sophie, but nothing since Read My Lips has been close to good enough imo. I don't see how people can say she still makes "perfect" pop, it's bland as...
