So which is our favourite album out of the two? :o

 

I love both albums but for me i'm gonna have to go for FWN. I just think the 2nd album is a much more mature sound, and the instuments sound better and there's more of a wider variety about what the songs are about. ^_^

It's a near-perfect album and certainly in my top 10 albums of all time. I know all the words to every song on WPSIATWIN whereas I could only recite about 3 or 4 songs in full from the newie. Saying that though, Favourite Worst Nightmare isn't a BAD album... just struggles [understandably] to rekindle the magic of the first one.

I used to think the first album, was just highly overated. But since FWN was released, i listened to the debut alot more, and both are excellent tbh.

 

i think i always go for the Debut because it has the best two songs that have done imo, "Mardy Bum" and " A Certain Romance".

 

so its the Debut for me.

I go for Favourite Worst Nightmare aswell!

Favourite Worst Nightmare because it's more solid and consistant, WPSIATWIN had so many great songs but it also had Riot Van and Vampires on it and like Rooney said a lot of it is about the same thing but I still think that is the best and defining album about teenage life and nights out etc. Meanwhile FWN is one of those very few albums you can listen to all the way through and probably the one that I listen to all the way through 30 something times in a week and didn't get completely bored of it :lol: it showed that they're definitely here to stay and the fact that it sounded different to the last one and their attitude shows they're totally in it for the music and nothing else.
