So, Tracey got 38.5% and Kara-Louise 30.8 leaving Jonty with 30.7. This gotta be the closest result ever on UKBB. I actually did prefer Jonty to go instead of K-L.

Well with Lord Puttnam, the chairman of Channel 4 expressing very strong concerns this morning on Radio 5 Live about the double standards of this show, for allowing Kara to be bullied by the likes of Liam, Ziggy & Carole (in stark contrast to what happened when the Coven bullied Shilpa Shetty) and for allowing Charley to say racist comments about Asians that was not broadcast (when the very opposite happened with Emily). Then I think this show is dying a very fast death.

 

With talk in the papers of Channel 4 negotiating with Sky to buy out the remaining two years of the contract with the shows producers Endemol do not be surprised if this Friday is the last ever Big Brother show on Channel 4!

No matter how boring Kara may have been, she did not deserve to be made to sit there listening as several other people surrounding her start declaring her as the "worst housemate". This isn't even the housemate's fault though, they had to pick someone, but they should NEVER have been made to this.

By setting up that little task, Big Brother was actively creating a situation where someone was inevitably going to be openly picked on, in a word, bullying. They really have learnt NOTHING from the racism controversy with Shilpa/Danielle. The show is rapidly digging it's own grave. This was the low point of the whole series.

Didn't the chairman make a comment earlier this year pretty much confirming this? It was something along the lines of he only wanted to broadcast shows he was proud of, and Big Brother was something he just couldn't be proud of.

i agree... i thought bb's treatment of kara was painfull for her, plus the double eviction swamped her limelight out by being with such a big character as tracey.... i didnt much like kara, but she should have been in it from the start (instead oh charLIE, or laura) and i thought she got a real bum deal... unfairly.

Yeah, the housemates bullied Kara but nothing was done about it...the foul Liam & the vile Ziggy were worst for it!

 

THEN she gets what? a half-arsed 3 minute interview and within that 3 minutes Davina mostly talks about how housemates thought she looked down on them and her shaving her armpits???

 

rrrright, I mean I know she wasn't the most entertaining of housemates but she was a lovely girl who was coming into her own - it's just ashame her BB experience was tarnished by two tw*ts and a sh*tty eviction interview.
