thisafternoon we unexpectedly won a gold and silver medal in the world athletic championships in japan.

 

the womens 400 metres was won by christine ohuragu (sp?) and jenifer saunders pipped second place in an exciting culmination to the race.

 

WELL DONE! its great to see thew uk wining, especially in such a great race.

let's hope they carry that on next year in Beijing
