August 30, 200717 yr I think that the English teams will get through easily Celtic depends on how good benfica play 50/50 chance. Rangers are out im afraid!!
August 30, 200717 yr Author Celtic and Rangers have picked the short straws so it seems. Rangers have both the french and german champions in the same group as them so it will be very tough for them.
August 30, 200717 yr English sides should all go through no bother, Arsenal in particular. Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool all have toughish oppositions from the second pot; Celtic and Rangers are a bit f***ed though.
August 30, 200717 yr Author English sides should all go through no bother, Arsenal in particular. Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool all have toughish oppositions from the second pot; Celtic and Rangers are a bit f***ed though. I would laugh if both rangers and celtic went through and non of the english sides did though. How did 4 english sides get seeded though?
August 30, 200717 yr I'm not sure. I think it's based on current performance and how they did in the CL last year. Not 100% though.
August 30, 200717 yr United's group is easy enough. Group C will be the interesting one, despite not being strong enough group to be hailed 'Group Of Death' all four teams could potentially top the group.
August 30, 200717 yr I think Arsenal will be able to qualify if they played their women's team in their games with their hands tied behind their backs and blindfolded.
August 30, 200717 yr I think Arsenal will be able to qualify if they played their women's team in their games with their hands tied behind their backs and blindfolded. but they shall struggle against Sevilla :naughty:
August 30, 200717 yr but they shall struggle against Sevilla :naughty: They won't struggle. I think Arsenal should get 4 points from them.
August 30, 200717 yr E is easily the 'group of death'... ... and Group H is easily the 'group of p***' © Jimmy Greaves
August 30, 200717 yr Liverpool's is just as weak. Marseille are rubbish and Porto only have a few good players and weren't great against Arsenal last year. All English teams will qualify with ease but I think Celtic and Rangers are as good as gone.
August 31, 200717 yr Schalke 04 (whats with the 04 on the end here)Not sure, maybe when they where started? Arsenal have quite an easy group and Man Utd and rangers are in a more difficult one.
