I have always loved Britney [well except that awful publicity stunt song with Madonna] but this is beyond the realms of awful. I suspect it will make top 5 here and top 10 in the US though if this is the best she has to offer she really is washed up. :(
Apparently the radio stations int he US are having to play the song almost non stop because so many requests are coming in for it. Its already in the Hot 100 and no.1 on almost all pop/top 40 stations.
It does gets better on each listen but still isn't up there with her best I think...

in america at all.if you check the media basy chart you'll see it for yourself.

I didn't have high expections for this but I've just downloaded it & I love it :o :thumbup:

 

Should hopefully go Top 3 in both the UK & US. It would be great if it could reach No.1

He meant the Top 100 on Mediabase. It could well be Hot 100 by Wednesday!

Top 3 in both countries.

 

It takes 5 listens to this song i think, and then your just completely HOOKED.

Yep.

 

Britney, has only ever had One US Number 1 i think.

 

If Toxic and such can hardly make Top 5 in the US, i doubt "Gimme More" will.

I predict #1 in UK and Top 3 in U.S., she doesn't deserve it though. :(

She hasn't had amazing chart peaks in the US. In fact the only single that has ever gotten above 9 was Hit Me Baby which hit #1. =/ So I think it's highly unlikely it'll hit #1. But I think it will manage to make top 5 with all the hype.

I think she will defo get no.1 in the uk and most likely in the USA. Billboard Hot 100 is almost entirely airplay based and considering how many stations and spins Britney is getting already, I would not be suprised if she did end up at no. 1, especially since she will certainly top i-tunes.
I agree. Also - has Gimme More been premiered on UK radio yet? Capitol, Radio 1, Galaxy?
