September 1, 200717 yr Liverpool winning 6-0 without their two best players (Stevie G & Jamie Carragher). :yahoo:
September 1, 200717 yr Author Newcastle 1-0 Wigan  Bolton 1-2 Everton FT Rangers 4-0 Gretna Rangers are yet to drop any points in the SPL Fulham 3-3 Spurs :o
September 1, 200717 yr Liverpool winning 6-0 without their two best players (Stevie G & Jamie Carragher). :yahoo: not that shocking considering derby are looking worse than sunderland 2 years ago. they have such an easy beginning to the season, it'll really help.
September 1, 200717 yr Derby are gonna be lucky to take many points this season, Liverpool seem to have absolutely torn them apart today and it could have been more aswell. I can't imagine losing 6-0 will do much for a confidence boost either. Very suprised Fulham managed to get a point against Spurs too.
September 1, 200717 yr Craig's take on the Fulham game should be rather interesting :D Birmingham don't seem too healthy though ...
September 1, 200717 yr I really fukkin despair I really do  :manson: 3 fukkin 1 up and we sit back and defend deeper and it bits us up the ass YET AGAIN When will Jol fukkin learn to stop defending leads :manson: Martin Jol's mum named the wrong son c**k Martin should have been named c**k instead of his brother as nothing could be more fitting  manson: Fukkin joke, every fukkin time we sit back and defend a lead this happens I have given Jol the benefit of the doubt enough times now but I am really leaning towards the camp of those that say fire him, he has the tactical understanding of Mr Bean and Frank Spencer !!!!
September 1, 200717 yr Author FT Bolton 1-2 Everton FT Fulham 3-3 Tottenham FT Liverpool 6-0 Derby FT Middlesbrough 2-0 Birmingham FT Newcastle 1-0 Wigan FT Reading 0-2 West Ham Tottenham's point sees them climb from 17th to 13th. Bolton and Reading's both lost and drop to 19th and 18th respectivly. Liverpool lead the primer league for the first time under Rafa Benitz, and their goal diffrence of plus 9 is 6 more than the second highest. Despite losing Wigan are 6th just one place below Newcastle. Birmingham slip to 16th as Middlesbrough go into 9th place. West Ham are up to 7th, their summer signings seam to have geld quickly this season and the east London side will be looking to do better than last season where they only survived on the last day of the season after defeating Man Utd 1-0. Speaking of which the Red Devils could go into the top 6 for the first time this season if they beat Sunderland, who could drop into the bottom 3 for the first time this season should they lose. The last time they were in the primership Sunderland never left the bottom 3 and were relegated on a record low 15points. Leeds unbeaten start to their league 1 season sees them still stuck in 24th place on minus 3 points, the former champions league semi finalists would be top had they not been fined 15 points.
September 1, 200717 yr Congratulations to Liverpool who are top of the Premiership for the first time since 1998!
September 1, 200717 yr Congratulations to Liverpool who are top of the Premiership for the first time since 1998! I thought it was 2002? Well according to Gillette Soccer Saturday anyway  Either way, I'm naturally not their biggest fan but congrats all the same.
September 1, 200717 yr So annoyed !!! 3-1 up and we bring on another fukkin defender and dig deep and defend deep instead of pushing on for more goals. Jol ain't learned from Chelsea last season the fat t*** You don't see Wenger or Ferguson or Mourinho or Benitez doing this $h!t and that's the difference between a decent manager and an average one Unfukkinbelieveable I better shut up before I end up getting my warning level upped for the first time in 6 months Edited September 1, 200717 yr by Vic Vega
September 1, 200717 yr Calm down Craig. Oh this is calm compared with what I am like offline right now lol this is a restrained response ;) If it was a one off I would shrug it off and say "$h!t happens" but this keeps happening every time and am getting sick of it
September 1, 200717 yr I thought it was 2002? Well according to Gillette Soccer Saturday anyway  Either way, I'm naturally not their biggest fan but congrats all the same. We went top briefly in 2002 but then later fixtures on the same day meant that we did not finish the day on top. Hence it is the first time we will finish the day on top of the Premiership since 1998.
