The more I hear you all saying how gruesome it was the more I'm looking forward to seeing it.Got to fit it into my busy life though later this week! I'll give you my opinions then.

:puke2: Went to see it today and omg - horrible film. At first I didnt think it was scary then it got to the midway point - and you'll know what I mean when you say it and like Kelly, it was TOO much for me, It was so disturbing :puke2:

And whaddya mean "It wasn't too bad considering......

I only caught a Glimpse Of The Trailer and always abit wary Of Horror's

It was that one 10 minute scene - it did do its job - I was terrified but I really couldnt have taken much more without vomiting.

Thank God I wasn't the only 1

Dude, I shudder to think what effect a Dario Argento or George Romero film from the 60s or 70s would have on you.....

Just seen this today and it was good and not too gory or gruesome at all. I must be used to them!
Seen as you say that chris, I'm thinking I may be able to withstand it...I'm pretty immune to gore. It's films like Wolf Creek and Blair Witch which get to me.
I didnt get why anyone would called Blair witch scary - sorry if that offends though....

Me neither to be honest, the acting was really poor and unconvincing and the main character was a right irritating bint   ... Mind you it didnt exactly help that before the film was released over here we'd already found out that it was all a clever bit of marketing and not a real documentary at all.....

Blair Witch is the kind of film that people either find truly terrifying or just not at all. It just depends how you view the film. When I watch it I get completely sucked into it and feel like I'm there as well. Other people can watch it and just find it an absolute bore. Each to their own though.

Go to see it Ashley and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.I certainly did.I can't understand why anyone walked out to be honest. It's not that bad at all.Got a feeling that Hostel which opens on 24th will be more gory.

Oh, I can understand it, probably the sort of p/ussies who thought they were gonna be seeing another House of Wax or Texas Chainsaw Massacre-type of crappy remake which they could smirk at while stuffing themselves with popcorn, and instead got something that was really quite hard-edged and disturbing and couldn't handle it....

RIGHT - Finally seen this after what seems like loads of build up.

Yes, I can see why some people would find this shocking, but personally I didn't at all. In general I thought the film was pretty rubbish. I never felt involved or even bothered about the characters. I thought the make-up for the demented people was really fake as well.

And about the gore, I didn't think it was that bad at all. It's one of those films where they show you something really gorey but for about a nano second. So it sorta tricks your mind into thinking it's very gorey when actually it's not. I prefer those proper 70's exploitation films where there may have only been to moments of gore in the whole film, but they were both unforgettable.

Overall, really dissapointed; BRING ON HOSTEL! :D

The jumpy moments were good though.
