2009 is ok by me, if we continue getting new songs like these on the website. 3 years between albums is a good idea, as people will really have missed him by then, not just fans. Coldplay, U2 etc all wait at least 3 years between albums.

I don't believe this at all. play.com, HMV etc always do this with upcoming album and get the release date wrong all the time. They probebly saw it fromt he BBC article and presumed it was official when it is not. BBC clearly got it from Wikipedia. There is no way Rob would release an album with such a truly die, cheesy and awful title. I also very much doubt he would return with a bloody Swing album. i would rather nothing then for have to see him once again crucified by the press and others. He has done Swing already, it has been done to death since then, and I do not want another album of 50 year old covers. He needs to come back with an amazing album of original songs and I am confident he will, late 2008, or 2009 as it said in yesterdays 'Times'.

Btw, there is nothing 'officiall confirmed' about the next album. Who knows, it could be a studio album out in the next 5 months, or the next 2 years, and not a swing album at all.

Have a listen to The Sun Podcast with Mark Ronson.....he briefly mentions RW.....it's available on Itunes 8 mins in approx via the Sun :) Mark says Robbies new songs are amazing & that he hoped that he gets to work on Robbies' new album.....

Exactly as I said....nothing much more...said that he met up with Robbie in LA & that Robbie came on stage & sang ' Only One I Know' & that he then played Mark a bunch of songs which he says were just amazing & that Mark hopes to work on Robbies new album next year... :P :P :P

my friends at work ( who know that I am a Robbie fan ) told me yesterday that they hear it said on the radio that Robbies next album was going to be available on downloads ONLY.....I am nor kidding...I am expecting that if you want the CD it will come as part of an overall package.....
