Timbaland. También saldrá al mercado en formato USB.

Is this site usually accurate? It seems a great time to release a new album, with the single being a huge pop anthem for the summer :w00t:

It's not a site, It's a spanish document with provisional release dates from the major record labels, with the document being sent out to the spanish media (i.e. Radios/Tv/News etc. )

If that makes sense.

Robbie Williams' Block songs

http://people.monstersandcritics.com/news/...ams_Block_songs

Robbie Williams has teamed up with Blockheads star Chaz Jankel to write new material.

The 'Angels' singer - who claims he is currently on strike from his record company EMI - has been working on a host of new songs but the best are said to be the ones he has done with Jankel, who was behind the 1978 hit 'Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick' along with the late Blockheads' frontman Ian Dury.

A source said: "Robbie and Chaz have been working on some great stuff. It's back to Robbie's funky best. Out of all his new tunes the Chaz stuff is the best."

However, Robbie is struggling to make a shortlist of potential album tracks because he has worked with several people in recent months, including Guy Chambers - the mastermind behind Robbie's biggest hits including 'Angels'.

The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Currently Robbie's problem is that he's worked on tunes with various people. It all sounds very different so it doesn't really sit well as an album.

"And the big reunion with Guy was a real let-down. They just couldn't reignite that spark."

Robbie was a good friend and huge fan of Dury's and attended his funeral in 2000. He has also performed on occasions with the remaining Blockheads since Dury died from cancer.

Robbie recently insisted he has no plans to release a new album this year.

He said: "There might not be a proper album out this year and there definitely won't be a tour any time soon. F**k that, the last one nearly killed me.

"There will be some kind of something this year. I might just put B-sides to the next album out first online. Then put an album out in 2009. Which means you won't be seeing me on stage for a while. Sorry folks."

Chaz Jankel and Robbie Williams

Blockhead HQ has been inundated with emails since the story broke in UK newspaper The Sun that Chaz and Robbie are writing together. We are happy to confirm that it is true and stress that the writing sessions are for a new album by Robbie.

So it appears this collab with Chaz Jackel is true. Considering he co-write classics that ROb has covered such as You're The Why and Sweet Jean Vincent, and as well as the #1 smahs Hit Me With Your Rythem Stick, then it is going to be very interesting to say the least. I hope the reports about Guy and Rob not being about to renite the smark is wrong though as I am dying to hear what they can come up with after so long apart.

:cheer:

PS- Scooty, I think you should change the date in your Topic Title....

:P

Already did :P

What do you think of this? I am not really sure. If songs turn out to be on a similar sound to You're The Why and Sweet Jean Vincent then I can't wait, but I don't want anything like Hit Me With Your Rythem Stick, as much of a classic as it is :P

Wonder how much of the new album will be made up of their songs together. Hopefully it is a mix.

I'm not sure either. I love Sweet Gene Vincent but I wouldn't say I was a major Blockheads fan.

And I always hated Hit Me With Your Bloody Rhythm Stick

2023  Go Robbie -_-

50 Cent and USB ? omg :drama:
